In the heart of Algonquin lies a small group of cabins where 15-20 researchers live at various points through the year studying the wildlife of the massive park. Some of the longest running wildlife studies in North America can be found here.
In this video we learn about the Wildlife Research Station itself, as well as take a closer look at the research being done on 3 specific projects: turtles, antler flies, and small mammals. These studies are conducted by Steven Kell, Chris Angell, and Arianne Sawyer respectively.
