Delsbo Electric

Delsbo Electric is a competition open to college and university students. The goal of the contest is to design and construct a battery driven railway vehicle which can travel along a 3.36 km long course whilst using the least amount of energy in Wh/Pkm.

The Aim of the competition is to give students the possibility to participate in a hands-on, exciting and inspirational technical project. The idea for the competition came from the ”Shell Eco Marathon” only with our focus being on energy efficient rail travel.
 
The main competition is held every year in late May on the Dellenbanan Railway, using standard Swedish railway tracks. The rules are simple and can be viewed on our website www.delsboelectric.se.
