Building She:Kon

These are the video records of one man's life long dream to build his own boat The journey began about 8 years ago while sitting in the cockpit of our 25' plastic boat on the Rideau Canal. I vowed to myself and my wife (Lori) that someday we'll cruise this waterway on a boat that I built! We started buying bits & bobs off of e-Bay and some marine surplus web sites that we knew we'd eventually use on the boat. Everything from hinges to portlights to the diesel engine were bought and stored. A lot of preparation went into getting all the elements together to start assembling the boat but eventually we got started. It's a slow process especially when working alone. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I am.
