Today's Q&A is all about overcoming creative burnout when it's only affecting one specific WIP (work in progress) novel you're working on.

*** MY GOAL AT YOUTUBE ***
I'm here to help fellow YA fantasy writers:
CREATE - their stories and series.
BUILD - their supportive community.
& SHARE their work with the world.
And to do all three with CONFIDENCE!
**** Uploads are on Tuesdays and Sundays!
Here's what's coming up! ****
Tuesdays: Idea to End Season 2 - Structural Edits
In the second season of Idea to End, we'll be picking apart how I do my structural edits and how what I've learned help you to create:
- strong characters with character-specific behaviours
- strong description but not too much.
- What part of the structural edit needs you to take things out.
- How chapter purpose is VITAL for a successful structural edit (and how to figure that out post-plotting)
- When to go to pen and paper or digital
- How to edit without fear
- How to get feedback.
and a couple of other things I don't know will be in it yet (just starting to record these for you in prep now).
Project for this particular season: Forged in Magic (what used to be End of Magic).
Sundays: Q&As and Welcome to Moonshade
Welcome to Moonshade is a new series about creating a new high-fantasy world, combining it with an old fantasy world and creating memorable characters. We'll also be using it as a case study to building your supportive community of readers and commissioning custom artwork so this one isn't to be missed! (Also, I just really, REALLY wanted to get writing something fresh again alongside the series relaunch work for The Common Kingdoms.)
