ghost</text><text start="44.079" dur="5.361">bsd installer this is the screen that</text><text start="47.039" dur="6.961">you're presented with when you download</text><text start="49.44" dur="7.119">the iso and you copy that onto a usb</text><text start="54" dur="6.399">stick you can use something like bolina</text><text start="56.559" dur="5.921">etcher or any of the usb</text><text start="60.399" dur="4.641">creation tools if you're using windows</text><text start="62.48" dur="6.72">then that might be rufus which is a good</text><text start="65.04" dur="8.88">tool for creating usb boot media so</text><text start="69.2" dur="7.04">i'm going to press 1 to boot multi mode</text><text start="73.92" dur="5.6">that's kind of the default that it</text><text start="76.24" dur="8">selects if you just let it install</text><text start="79.52" dur="6.959">what it will now do is it will load the</text><text start="84.24" dur="6.239">live cd into</text><text start="86.479" dur="6.241">ram that's why it needs 4 gig of ram as</text><text start="90.479" dur="5.041">a minimum specification</text><text start="92.72" dur="5.759">because the whole live cd basically</text><text start="95.52" dur="4.8">loads into ram and that's what makes a</text><text start="98.479" dur="4.481">live cd</text><text start="100.32" dur="4.32">run so quickly and that's quite that's</text><text start="102.96" dur="3.519">quite normal for</text><text start="104.64" dur="4.24">bsd so</text><text start="106.479" dur="3.201">we'll just wait for this to load into</text><text start="108.88" dur="5.8">ram</text><text start="109.68" dur="5">and that shouldn't take too long</text><text start="123.68" dur="6.16">okay you just caught there that</text><text start="126" dur="6.56">uh it's on freebsd stable 13.1 and</text><text start="129.84" dur="4.08">that's the reason why we are installing</text><text start="132.56" dur="4.96">and running this</text><text start="133.92" dur="6.92">is uh because of that so here we are</text><text start="137.52" dur="6.48">this is a bsd</text><text start="140.84" dur="5.399">installer via a live cd just like you</text><text start="144" dur="4.879">would get on linux</text><text start="146.239" dur="5.28">and you are presented with a desktop so</text><text start="148.879" dur="5.521">that's really nice now obviously</text><text start="151.519" dur="5.44">if you've tried bsd before then you</text><text start="154.4" dur="5.28">might be used to</text><text start="156.959" dur="4">text-based installers and it may be a</text><text start="159.68" dur="3.52">little bit</text><text start="160.959" a</text><text start="167.2" dur="5.28">bit old-school so it's really nice that</text><text start="169.36" dur="5.28">goes bsd put together this live cd that</text><text start="172.48" dur="5.92">you can boot straight into and you get a</text><text start="174.64" dur="6.239">graphical installer now as i said uh and</text><text start="178.4" dur="3.52">this is the reason why we're doing this</text><text start="180.879" dur="4.801">is</text><text start="181.92" dur="7.36">this is based on the latest version of</text><text start="185.68" dur="7.6">bsd 13.1 so that's that's brilliant so</text><text start="189.28" dur="4">we're going to click on install ghostbsd</text><text start="193.519" dur="6.321">and select english</text><text start="195.76" dur="4.08">and then if we just scroll down</text><text start="200.319" dur="4.161">i never know why</text><text start="201.84" dur="4.479">on this installer why when you europe and</text><text start="218.239" dur="6.161">then scroll down here and london</text><text start="222.239" dur="5.521">all right i'm going to do a full disk</text><text start="224.4" once i've shown you</text><text start="233.2" dur="4">this installer and we have it up and</text><text start="234.799" dur="4.561">running then i'm gonna jump across to</text><text start="237.2" dur="5.36">the physical machine and we're gonna</text><text start="239.36" dur="4.799">look at uh ghost bsd</text><text start="242.56" dur="4.16">running on a</text><text start="244.159" dur="5.121">normal regular laptop just like we</text><text start="246.72" dur="4.56">normally do so this is literally just to</text><text start="249.28" dur="3.92">show you the dur="4.96">and we click next</text><text start="256.56" dur="7.199">it's going to say freebsd bias loader</text><text start="259.44" dur="6.319">only so just to be aware of this and</text><text start="263.759" dur="5.041">if you have a previous version of</text><text start="265.759" dur="5.761">ghostbsd there were some issues with the</text><text start="268.8" dur="5.28">previously released version that has now</text><text start="271.52" dur="3.92">been patched so make sure that you if</text><text start="274.08" dur="4.72">you're going to try this that you</text><text start="275.44" dur="5.84">download the latest version of ghostbsd</text><text start="278.8" dur="3.92">otherwise you may run into</text><text start="281.28" dur="2.24">problems when</text><text start="282.72" dur="5.759">you</text><text start="283.52" dur="6.959">try to install onto a hard drive but</text><text start="288.479" dur="5.361">they've all been sorted now so just make</text><text start="290.479" dur="7.761">sure that you've downloaded the latest</text><text start="293.84" dur="6">iso from guys bsd i'm gonna put sticky</text><text start="298.24" dur="4.16">chap in there</text><text start="299.84" dur="5.28">and we're gonna put a really super weak</text><text start="302.4" dur="5.68">password because this is just uh just to</text><text start="305.12" dur="5.44">demonstrate how easy the installer is</text><text start="308.08" dur="5.76">and installation in progress</text><text start="310.56" dur="4.24">so the installation takes some time and</text><text start="313.84" dur="3.359">uh</text><text start="314.8" dur="4.239">but not not overly long</text><text start="317.199" dur="5.041">basically this is just installing</text><text start="319.039" dur="7.761">everything you need for ghost bsd and</text><text start="322.24" dur="7.36">hopefully this will land us in a desktop</text><text start="326.8" dur="5.28">environment after a reboot so what we'll</text><text start="329.6" dur="4.96">do is we'll fast forward the video</text><text start="332.08" dur="3.36">and uh basically uh</text><text start="334.56" dur="2.72">that</text><text start="335.44" dur="3.759">should leave us when the where the</text><text start="337.28" dur="2.96">installation is complete but hopefully</text><text start="339.199" dur="5.041">you can see</text><text start="340.24" dur="7.99">how easy it is to install guys psd and</text><text start="344.24" dur="15.349">how quick it is as well</text><text start="348.23" dur="11.359">[Music]</text><text start="360.4" dur="4.72">great so</text><text start="361.919" dur="4.961">installation is complete as you can see</text><text start="365.12" dur="3.6">and</text><text start="366.88" dur="4.4">it was very easy very very</text><text start="368.72" dur="5.44">straightforward so</text><text start="371.28" dur="6.16">so we're going to restart and what we'll</text><text start="374.16" dur="5.28">do is i'll jump across to</text><text start="377.44" dur="5.039">the other machine and</text><text start="379.44" dur="5.68">we'll take a look at ghost psd</text><text start="382.479" dur="6.481">running on actual hardware</text><text start="385.12" dur="6.48">so here we are this is the very latest</text><text start="388.96" dur="4.239">version of ghost bsd</text><text start="391.6" dur="5.36">2206</text><text start="393.199" dur="6.881">18 and let's just take a look to see</text><text start="396.96" dur="7.12">exactly what we have installed so if we</text><text start="400.08" dur="6.88">launch a mate or mate system monitor and</text><text start="404.08" dur="5.28">we take a look at system we can see yeah</text><text start="406.96" dur="5.359">it's 2206.18</text><text start="409.36" dur="5.04">and the really exciting bit is that this</text><text start="412.319" dur="4.081">is running on a brand new kernel which</text><text start="414.4" dur="4.16">is freebsd</text><text start="416.4" dur="4.96">13.1 stable</text><text start="418.56" dur="6.24">that's also just been released and i</text><text start="421.36" dur="7.44">reviewed that in uh just a few weeks ago</text><text start="424.8" dur="6.88">and noted that it was very very vast in</text><text start="428.8" dur="5.28">challenging also the a lot of the linux</text><text start="431.68" dur="4.639">distros for speed</text><text start="434.08" dur="3.839">we are still running the same mate or</text><text start="436.319" dur="5.361">mate version</text><text start="437.919" dur="6.321">which is 1.26 as my previous review um</text><text start="441.68" dur="7.76">obviously this is still release 22 of</text><text start="444.24" dur="8.239">guys psd but it is a significant release</text><text start="449.44" dur="4.72">simply because of the change in kernel</text><text start="452.479" dur="4.641">will mean that</text><text start="454.16" dur="6.56">a lot more hardware is supported out of</text><text start="457.12" dur="5.6">the box and indeed it is my camera was</text><text start="460.72" dur="5.039">detected first time</text><text start="462.72" dur="5.28">the network card has been detected</text><text start="465.759" dur="4.88">everything that i've plugged in so far</text><text start="468" dur="4.4">has been detected and what we'll do in</text><text start="470.639" dur="3.441">this review</text><text start="472.4" dur="3.44">i'll show you a little bit and</text><text start="474.08" dur="4.799">customizing the</text><text start="475.84" dur="5.68">mate or multi desktop and also how to</text><text start="478.879" dur="5.201">get software applications but we'll also</text><text start="481.52" dur="5.76">test it with an external monitor and</text><text start="484.08" dur="4">check to see that that all works as well</text><text start="487.28" dur="3.599">so</text><text start="488.08" dur="5.92">it'll be a fairly thorough test in terms</text><text start="490.879" dur="7.681">of this release</text><text start="494" dur="6.479">i'm running this on a i5 6200 cpu with</text><text start="498.56" dur="5.359">2.3 gigahertz</text><text start="500.479" dur="6.4">it's another hp laptop so very very</text><text start="503.919" dur="5.84">similar to the spec that i tested on</text><text start="506.879" dur="4.88">before that hp laptop</text><text start="509.759" dur="4.561">has now been given away</text><text start="511.759" dur="4.64">but this laptop is very very similar</text><text start="514.32" dur="4.48">specification other than it's at a</text><text start="516.399" dur="6">slight disadvantage in that it has 12</text><text start="518.8" dur="7.92">gig of ram and the last one had 16 gig</text><text start="522.399" dur="6.88">of ram both of those laptops had ssds in</text><text start="526.72" dur="5.84">as does this so</text><text start="529.279" dur="5.68">very very similar in terms of tests so</text><text start="532.56" dur="6.08">it'll be interesting to see how this</text><text start="534.959" dur="5.921">fares given the review i did previously</text><text start="538.64" dur="4.72">if i click on resources</text><text start="540.88" dur="6.32">you can see again that</text><text start="543.36" dur="6.24">the cpu is running really really nicely</text><text start="547.2" dur="4.88">the fans aren't kicking in on the laptop</text><text start="549.6" dur="6.08">at all it's running about 20</text><text start="552.08" dur="5.36">and yet i am recording this at 1080p</text><text start="555.68" dur="4.32">even though the screen itself is</text><text start="557.44" dur="5.36">1366x768</text><text start="560" dur="3.92">my camera is is</text><text start="568.24" dur="7.36">that all of this is running in around</text><text start="571.12" dur="5.52">1.1 gig of ram as well so</text><text start="575.6" dur="3.52">we have</text><text start="576.64" dur="6.639">12 gig of ram obviously and we there's</text><text start="579.12" dur="6.88">also a swap partition as well of 2.3 gig</text><text start="583.279" dur="4.721">that's not being used at all so</text><text start="586" dur="5.04">in terms of resource it's running really</text><text start="588" dur="5.839">well so what i'll do is i'll just</text><text start="591.04" dur="5.68">leave this running over here</text><text start="593.839" dur="6.961">so what we'll do now is we will install</text><text start="596.72" dur="6.799">some software so if i go to system go to</text><text start="600.8" dur="3.92">administration and go to software</text><text start="603.519" dur="3.601">station</text><text start="604.72" dur="4.559">and</text><text start="607.12" dur="5.2">just type in my password there now</text><text start="609.279" dur="5.601">previously in my last review software</text><text start="612.32" dur="4.56">station needed a little tinkering with</text><text start="614.88" dur="5.44">in the background because the</text><text start="616.88" dur="6.24">repositories were so slow i needed to</text><text start="620.32" dur="5.12">change the source of repositories where</text><text start="623.12" dur="4.8">it basically pulls the software</text><text start="625.44" dur="5.92">information from i needed to change the</text><text start="627.92" dur="4.72">location of that to france but as you</text><text start="631.36" dur="4">can see</text><text start="632.64" dur="4.96">now they seem to have corrected that and</text><text start="635.36" dur="4.08">it just works out of the box as i've</text><text start="637.6" dur="3.04">said i haven't changed anything in the</text><text start="639.44" dur="3.04">background</text><text start="640.64" dur="4">and i haven't changed the repository</text><text start="642.48" dur="4.72">locations if i wanted to further improve</text><text start="644.64" dur="5.92">things i could do that</text><text start="647.2" dur="6.16">but as it stands it's actually</text><text start="650.56" dur="6.48">fairly okay fairly fairly fast</text><text start="653.36" dur="7.2">packages available 31</text><text start="657.04" dur="6.799">812 so there are plenty of</text><text start="660.56" dur="7.12">soft plenty of software out there to try</text><text start="663.839" dur="5.841">and again it's nicely categorized on the</text><text start="667.68" dur="4.719">left there into</text><text start="669.68" dur="5.2">different types of applications</text><text start="672.399" dur="6">so we're going to install some software</text><text start="674.88" dur="6.16">as always i will try and build this</text><text start="678.399" dur="5.041">video using the laptop</text><text start="681.04" dur="4.96">and i'm pleased to say uh the search as</text><text start="683.44" dur="5.76">well seems to have improved it was a</text><text start="686" dur="5.2">little buggy before when i started</text><text start="689.2" dur="4.4">typing it would search straight away</text><text start="691.2" dur="5.12">there seems to be a slight delay now</text><text start="693.6" dur="6.08">when you type so that you are able to</text><text start="696.32" dur="5.44">type the whole word without</text><text start="699.68" dur="4">it's going off to search and then</text><text start="701.76" dur="7.44">delaying the whole thing so i'm going to</text><text start="703.68" dur="5.52">install caden live and let's apply that</text><text start="710.959" dur="3.921">there's going to be some extra software</text><text start="713.2" dur="3.36">changes it's going to need to install</text><text start="714.88" dur="3.84">some plugins</text><text start="716.56" dur="4.079">confirm that</text><text start="718.72" dur="4.72">also what was really nice</text><text start="720.639" dur="6">i had to install obs on here to record</text><text start="723.44" dur="5.28">this video and what was really nice</text><text start="726.639" dur="4.481">in the software station is that you can</text><text start="728.72" dur="4.239">also at the same time install lots of</text><text start="731.12" dur="5.04">obs plugins</text><text start="732.959" dur="5.041">as well so that was really cool that i</text><text start="736.16" dur="4.4">could select those plugins things like</text><text start="738" dur="4.32">filters noise filters things like that i</text><text start="740.56" dur="3.92">could select those plugins and install</text><text start="742.32" dur="4">that all at the same time through</text><text start="744.48" dur="5.28">software station</text><text start="746.32" dur="6.56">so actually that that works really well</text><text start="749.76" dur="5.12">so kaden live is now installing that's</text><text start="752.88" dur="3.6">fetching all of that and you can see</text><text start="754.88" dur="4.56">it's doing that</text><text start="756.48" it's probably getting it from a</text><text start="763.839" dur="5.361">location that isn't optimized but i'm</text><text start="766.399" dur="5.601">trying this out of the box going to minimize that</text><text start="776.639" dur="5.041">whilst that's installing</text><text start="779.92" dur="4.24">as you can see even though i'm running</text><text dur="5.279">get taxed a little bit but still</text><text start="951.759" dur="6.161">and the ram as well is now gone up to</text><text start="954.639" dur="6.401">thirteen point three percent well</text><text start="971.92" dur="6.88">and if i just go to bbc</text><text start="975.12" dur="6.32">you can see everything is still really</text><text start="978.8" dur="2.64">snappy</text><text start="981.6" dur="4.88">and it's impressive it really is</text><text start="984.24" dur="5.36">impressive that you know i'm doing all</text><text start="986.48" dur="4.4">of this i've got software installing</text><text start="989.6" dur="4.32">i've got</text><text start="990.88" dur="5.04">uh obs recording and</text><text start="993.92" dur="4.4">i'm still able to browse the internet</text><text start="995.92" dur="3.599">and you know launch a few tabs as well</text><text start="998.32" dur="3.759">you know</text><text start="999.519" dur="6.56">i'll go to youtube maybe watch</text><text start="1002.079" dur="5.361">a youtube as well that all works fine</text><text start="1006.079" dur="4.88">um</text><text start="1007.44" dur="6.959">yeah it it all is just working really</text><text start="1010.959" dur="5.201">well so multiple tabs open now i'm</text><text start="1014.399" dur="3.36">starting to approach</text><text start="1016.16" dur="4.08">uh 50</text><text start="1017.759" dur="3.361">if i'm in firefox</text><text start="1020.24" dur="3.039">and</text><text start="1021.12" dur="4.24">if i just go to</text><text start="1023.279" dur="4.721">reddit as well</text><text start="1025.36" dur="3.92">okay so as i do things in each</text><text start="1028" dur="4.88">individual</text><text start="1029.28" dur="5.919">tab you can see that the cpus there are</text><text start="1032.88" dur="3.84">starting to get taxed</text><text start="1035.199" dur="5.441">but</text><text start="1036.72" dur="6.88">this is really really quite stable for a</text><text start="1040.64" dur="4.88">machine that is</text><text start="1043.6" dur="2.959">a middling spec</text><text start="1045.52" dur="3.84">machine</text><text start="1046.559" dur="4.961">but um yeah given that i'm installing</text><text start="1049.36" dur="3.52">all this software in the background</text><text start="1051.52" dur="3.279">sometimes when you're installing</text><text start="1052.88" dur="3.12">software you kind of have to wait for</text><text start="1054.799" dur="2.88">things to</text><text start="1056" dur="4.64">finish but</text><text start="1057.679" dur="5.521">yeah it's it's working quite well what i</text><text start="1060.64" dur="5.279">would say about software station is</text><text start="1063.2" dur="5.599">installing caden live at the moment is</text><text start="1065.919" dur="5.681">is taking far too long so</text><text start="1068.799" dur="5.841">obs was really quick to install</text><text start="1071.6" dur="4.319">including its plugins however uh caden</text><text start="1074.64" dur="3.919">live is</text><text start="1075.919" dur="5.041">taking some time so i'm wondering</text><text start="1078.559" dur="5.281">is there some more optimizations that</text><text start="1080.96" dur="4.959">need to be done on the repositories and</text><text start="1083.84" dur="4.64">that's really easily done i showed how</text><text start="1085.919" dur="5.12">that would could be done on the last</text><text start="1088.48" dur="5.52">video so</text><text start="1091.039" dur="6.401">i'll just let that keep installing at</text><text start="1094" dur="5.44">the moment so so far it's quite</text><text start="1097.44" dur="5.04">quite impressive what i'm going to do</text><text start="1099.44" dur="7.2">now is just demonstrate the</text><text start="1102.48" dur="6.88">plank or the dock so if i click on plank</text><text start="1106.64" dur="4.64">there we go we get a nice modern looking</text><text start="1109.36" dur="4.559">dock thing at the bottom but of course</text><text start="1111.28" dur="4.8">you've still got your panel down here</text><text start="1113.919" dur="4.801">and that's quite easy to remove you just</text><text start="1116.08" dur="6.4">click on delete this panel</text><text start="1118.72" dur="6.959">delete and there we are so now we have a</text><text start="1122.48" dur="5.92">much more mac-esque type</text><text start="1125.679" dur="4.081">look to things and</text><text start="1128.4" dur="4.08">some people</text><text start="1129.76" dur="5.2">might prefer that there is actually a an</text><text start="1132.48" dur="4.8">xfce</text><text start="1134.96" dur="5.36">edition of this as well which is the</text><text start="1137.28" dur="6.32">community edition that is available as</text><text start="1140.32" dur="5.04">well on the latest release which is</text><text start="1143.6" dur="4.24">22.06</text><text start="1145.36" dur="4.4">18.</text><text start="1147.84" dur="4.719">i'm going to pause the video there</text><text start="1149.76" dur="5.84">whilst all this stuff is running and i'm</text><text start="1152.559" dur="4.24">going to try it now or with an external</text><text start="1155.6" dur="3.52">monitor</text><text start="1156.799" dur="5.041">connected and we're going to see if that</text><text start="1159.12" dur="4.799">works as well so bear with me i'm going</text><text start="1161.84" dur="4">to be setting things up</text><text start="1163.919" dur="3.76">with the monitor get that attached and</text><text start="1165.84" dur="4">plugged in and</text><text start="1167.679" dur="4.161">we'll just transition once i've got it</text><text start="1169.84" dur="5.36">all set up back again</text><text start="1171.84" dur="8.32">we now have the external monitor plugged</text><text start="1175.2" dur="7.28">in and it works okay what i will say was</text><text start="1180.16" dur="4.72">that it was a little glitchy</text><text start="1182.48" dur="6.079">uh when i first plugged it in the</text><text start="1184.88" dur="6">because this is a now a 1080p monitor</text><text start="1188.559" dur="4.881">and my laptop screen is</text><text start="1190.88" dur="4.56">1366</text><text start="1193.44" dur="4">it kind of glitched out a little bit the</text><text start="1195.44" dur="4.239">laptop screen was fine but the monitor</text><text start="1197.44" dur="4.88">screen was a little all over the place</text><text start="1199.679" dur="5.201">and i had to reboot</text><text start="1202.32" dur="6.16">but i'm pleased to say now having</text><text start="1204.88" dur="5.84">rebooted and set the monitor to</text><text start="1208.48" dur="5.28">1920x1080</text><text start="1210.72" dur="5.76">everything works okay</text><text start="1213.76" dur="4.72">what i will say is that the icons from</text><text start="1216.48" dur="4.8">the laptop screen that are on the</text><text start="1218.48" dur="4.319">desktop haven't moved across even though</text><text start="1221.28" dur="2.32">i've made this</text><text start="1222.799" dur="4.801">uh</text><text start="1223.6" dur="5.199">asus monitor the primary display</text><text start="1227.6" dur="3.76">but</text><text start="1228.799" dur="5.041">that's that's not too bad</text><text start="1231.36" dur="5.52">everything else seems to be working okay</text><text start="1233.84" dur="6.16">i can move from screen to screen okay</text><text start="1236.88" dur="6.08">and that that all works fine</text><text start="1240" dur="4.88">so yeah so we now have</text><text start="1242.96" dur="5.599">the uh</text><text start="1244.88" dur="6.56">ghost bsd running with uh</text><text start="1248.559" dur="7.041">a 1080p monitor external monitor plugged</text><text start="1251.44" dur="7.359">in i've got my logitech c920 camera</text><text start="1255.6" dur="4.079">plugged in it's all detected fine</text><text start="1258.799" dur="4.401">and</text><text start="1259.679" dur="6.081">yeah it's working really really well</text><text start="1263.2" dur="5.599">so if we do we can see on the dock here</text><text start="1265.76" dur="5.44">we have evolution as the default mail</text><text start="1268.799" dur="4">client rhythm box is the default music</text><text start="1271.2" dur="5.839">player vlc</text><text start="1272.799" dur="4.24">default media player i have</text><text start="1277.52" dur="5.2">is the image viewer and then we've got</text><text start="1279.52" dur="5.68">another evolution icon here as well so a</text><text start="1282.72" dur="5.6">little bit of duplication there and</text><text start="1285.2" dur="5.2">getting rid of that should be as easy as</text><text start="1288.32" dur="4.08">that so you just</text><text start="1290.4" dur="5.279">right click the icon</text><text start="1292.4" dur="5.92">and click on keep in dock</text><text start="1295.679" dur="4.721">untick it to remove it but what's nice</text><text start="1298.32" dur="4.52">is you do have when you right click on</text><text start="1300.4" dur="6.159">things like evolution you do</text><text start="1302.84" dur="6.76">get a number of options that are linked</text><text start="1306.559" dur="5.6">to evolution such as compose a message</text><text start="1309.6" dur="4.8">and can't get to your contacts calendar</text><text start="1312.159" dur="4.241">and so on so that's that's really nice</text><text start="1314.4" dur="6.72">that that's kind of the functionality is</text><text start="1316.4" dur="5.92">built in on the plank dock down here</text><text start="1321.12" dur="3.12">so now we've got something that's</text><text start="1322.32" dur="4.32">starting to look pretty good and you</text><text start="1324.24" dur="4.559">know it's quite easy to change the</text><text start="1326.64" dur="4.88">desktop background as well</text><text start="1328.799" dur="5.76">so you've got things like this which is</text><text start="1331.52" dur="5.68">a slideshow of the cosmos</text><text start="1334.559" dur="3.6">and that will change as well</text><text start="1337.2" dur="4">uh</text><text start="1338.159" dur="6.241">automatically so there we go so</text><text start="1341.2" dur="3.2">that all looks fine</text><text start="1344.559" dur="4.48">and then you got some other backgrounds</text><text start="1347.679" dur="3.841">as well</text><text start="1349.039" dur="4">they like their light lightning here on</text><text start="1351.52" dur="5.6">ghost bhd</text><text start="1353.039" dur="6.081">um so um what i will do actually is i</text><text start="1357.12" dur="5.36">think i'll just this time i'll change it</text><text start="1359.12" dur="6">to the bridge okay so hopefully you have</text><text start="1362.48" dur="5.52">been able to see that very very quickly</text><text start="1365.12" dur="5.919">with very little effort we've now got to</text><text start="1368" dur="6.32">a place with the ghost bsd desktop that</text><text start="1371.039" dur="4.64">it looks like most other modern desktop</text><text start="1374.32" dur="3.76">environments</text><text start="1375.679" dur="4.641">and that's quite quite nice and you can</text><text start="1378.08" dur="5.2">go even further than that under</text><text start="1380.32" dur="5.04">preferences and look and feel if you go</text><text start="1383.28" dur="4.399">into station tweak</text><text start="1385.36" dur="4.799">interface you can change what's called</text><text start="1387.679" dur="3.601">the panel layouts and that will change</text><text start="1390.159" dur="3.841">how</text><text start="1391.28" dur="5.12">the basically the panel behaves how the</text><text start="1394" dur="5.039">panel looks and there are lots of</text><text start="1396.4" dur="4.639">different looks that you can select</text><text start="1399.039" dur="5.041">so you can go even further if you want</text><text start="1401.039" dur="6.721">to i'm keeping it to the default mate or</text><text start="1404.08" dur="6.16">mate layout for the time being</text><text start="1407.76" dur="5.84">what i will say as well is that if you</text><text start="1410.24" dur="5.76">want planck to launch every time you</text><text start="1413.6" dur="5.92">restart your desktop you will need to</text><text start="1416" dur="6">add it into startup applications</text><text start="1419.52" dur="4.639">and that's what i've done here so under</text><text start="1422" dur="5.039">startup applications</text><text start="1424.159" dur="5.281">you can see i've added this custom</text><text start="1427.039" dur="3.76">customize additional startup program if</text><text start="1429.44" dur="3.68">i click
