start="35.7" dur="4.41">boot manager errors that many people</text><text start="37.35" dur="4.8">complain about and grub to win so before</text><text start="40.11" dur="3.96">we start please note that refined is an</text><text start="42.15" dur="5.04">EFI boot loader that means it doesn&amp;#39;t</text><text start="44.07" dur="5.1">work on legacy MBR systems I&amp;#39;m going to</text><text start="47.19" dur="3.81">make a separate video for legacy users</text><text start="49.17" dur="3.69">and what they can use as an alternative</text><text start="51" dur="3.6">to grub to win along with some</text><text start="52.86" dur="3.72">troubleshooting tips for users who mess</text><text start="54.6" dur="4.44">up their partitions and windows in the</text><text start="56.58" dur="4.11">process of installation so just</text><text start="59.04" dur="3.63">subscribe and hit the bell icon so that</text><text start="60.69" dur="4.38">you can get notified whenever video is</text><text start="62.67" dur="4.71">released now let&amp;#39;s begin the</text><text start="65.07" dur="4.71">installation process first of all you</text><text start="67.38" dur="3.93">need to download and install ez ufi in</text><text start="69.78" dur="3.3">your system and then download the</text><text start="71.31" dur="4.08">refined modded by night for Windows</text><text start="73.08" dur="5.25">users links of both are given in the</text><text start="75.39" dur="4.83">description ok now just open the refine</text><text start="78.33" dur="8.819">zip that you&amp;#39;ve downloaded and extract</text><text start="80.22" dur="11.509">it to your C Drive and then browse to</text><text start="87.149" dur="4.58">refine folder using the windows explorer</text><text start="95.21" dur="4.72">here we just need to edit this refined</text><text start="97.89" dur="4.409">comp file because it stores all the</text><text start="99.93" dur="5.13">refined configurations including the</text><text start="102.299" dur="4.381">boot entries just scroll to the bottom</text><text start="105.06" dur="3.87">and you&amp;#39;ll find the dark matter booth</text><text start="106.68" dur="6.299">entry just modify it according to your</text><text start="108.93" dur="8.999">current installation put your Phoenix OS</text><text start="112.979" dur="7.471">Drive name and volume and as you can see</text><text start="117.929" dur="4.921">here I have all the files stored on my</text><text start="120.45" dur="5.43">root track not inside any folder so I&amp;#39;ll</text><text start="122.85" dur="5.939">just remove these slash POS tags from</text><text start="125.88" dur="5.4">the entry if you face any error like</text><text start="128.789" dur="4.501">this on first boot that means your grub</text><text start="131.28" dur="3.87">entry is not correct and you need to</text><text start="133.29" dur="5.1">double check your volume name and other</text><text start="135.15" dur="5.16">boot entries now just save the file and</text><text start="138.39" dur="3.09">uninstall grub to win if you have it</text><text start="140.31" dur="3.649">installed on your system</text><text start="141.48" dur="5.339">you can use both of them side by side</text><text start="143.959" dur="17.981">but I don&amp;#39;t recommend using both since</text><text start="146.819" dur="17.73">they do the same job after this we just</text><text start="161.94" dur="4.65">need to open easy.you Fi and if you are</text><text start="164.549" dur="3.75">using a patched version of it start="171.85" dur="5.38">now just go to manage efi system then</text><text start="174.89" dur="4.8">click on efi system partition explorer</text><text start="177.23" dur="4.92">and choose your fat32 partition and</text><text start="179.69" dur="4.35">click open here you can see the small</text><text start="182.15" dur="5.01">Explorer window that we&amp;#39;ll use to upload</text><text start="184.04" dur="6">our refined files just right click on</text><text start="187.16" dur="4.5">root and select upload now just browse</text><text start="190.04" dur="4.23">to your C Drive where you&amp;#39;ve extracted</text><text start="191.66" dur="6.299">your refined folder select it and click</text><text start="194.27" dur="6.24">OK to upload do not upload this refined</text><text start="197.959" dur="4.5">folder inside of efi or any other folder</text><text start="200.51" dur="5.22">because it won&amp;#39;t work keep it in your</text><text start="202.459" dur="5.461">group track click OK to exit and now</text><text start="205.73" dur="6.99">come to the home page and click manage</text><text start="207.92" dur="7.14">efi options so now we need to make a</text><text start="212.72" dur="4.68">boot injury for refined folder that we</text><text start="215.06" dur="4.98">just uploaded click on this small plus</text><text start="217.4" dur="4.89">button and select the type 2 Linux or</text><text start="220.04" dur="5.58">other OS and put refined in the</text><text start="222.29" dur="5.43">description select that fat32 efi</text><text start="225.62" dur="4.71">partition again and click the Browse</text><text start="227.72" dur="6.75">button at the bottom here you can choose</text><text start="230.33" dur="8.67">refine slash underscore x64 efi or</text><text start="234.47" dur="7.95">refine slash underscore ia32 efi if the</text><text start="239" dur="5.73">x64 version doesn&amp;#39;t boot for you click</text><text start="242.42" dur="5.37">OK to save changes and come back to</text><text start="244.73" dur="5.37">reify boot options now just press that</text><text start="247.79" dur="4.89">small up button and put refined on top</text><text start="250.1" dur="5.639">of all other boot entries this will set</text><text start="252.68" dur="6.989">refine as your default boot loader now</text><text start="255.739" dur="5.731">just exit the program if you want to</text><text start="259.669" dur="4.741">make any changes in your refine</text><text start="261.47" dur="5.67">configuration or add new boot entries in</text><text start="264.41" dur="5.22">the refine boot configuration then just</text><text start="267.14" dur="5.15">delete your current refine comp file</text><text start="269.63" dur="2.66">from here</text><text start="272.52" dur="7.53">and then right click on refine folder</text><text start="276.75" dur="6.389">and choose upload to upload new updated</text><text start="280.05" dur="5.01">files from your C Drive click OK to save</text><text start="283.139" dur="10.74">the changes and you don&amp;#39;t need to change</text><text start="285.06" dur="10.8">anything and manage EFI boot options now</text><text start="293.879" dur="4.051">all you need to do is to reboot into</text><text start="295.86" dur="5.279">your system BIOS settings and set</text><text start="297.93" dur="5.639">refined as the default bootloader the</text><text start="301.139" dur="4.68">step is not necessary but some bios&amp;#39;s</text><text start="303.569" dur="3.84">will override system boot configurations</text><text start="305.819" dur="5.28">because they don&amp;#39;t get changed from</text><text start="307.409" dur="6.301">Windows just put the refine above all</text><text start="311.099" dur="11.25">other blue entries and save changes and</text><text start="313.71" dur="10.59">exit so now you can see here that we&amp;#39;ve</text><text start="322.349" dur="2.641">successfully booted into the refine</text><text start="324.3" dur="3.39">bootloader</text><text start="324.99" dur="4.829">the UI is similar to grub to win but</text><text start="327.69" dur="5.819">it&amp;#39;s better and you can customize and</text><text start="329.819" dur="5.791">apply many things to it you can find</text><text start="333.509" dur="4.44">more about those on the
