now</text><text start="435.039" dur="3.921">we've booted straight into the</text><text start="436.96" dur="3.84">reactos installer and the first thing</text><text start="438.96" dur="4.32">that you will notice about it is</text><text start="440.8" dur="4">it is very reminiscent of the windows</text><text start="443.28" dur="3.44">installers from the era</text><text start="444.8" dur="4.64">that it's attempting to emulate um</text><text start="446.72" dur="5.84">obviously windows 98 and windows 2000</text><text start="449.44" dur="6.4">look like this that kind of a blue and</text><text start="452.56" dur="7.919">silver dostyle screen so we'll go to um</text><text start="455.84" dur="6.479">united kingdom and enter to install</text><text start="460.479" dur="4.241">and then we do get a warning that react</text><text start="462.319" dur="3.521">os is in alpha stage meaning it's not</text><text start="464.72" dur="2.8">feature complete</text><text start="465.84" dur="3.039">and is under heavy development it is</text><text start="467.52" dur="2.399">recommended to use it only for</text><text start="468.879" dur="3.841">evaluation</text><text start="469.919" dur="5.201">and testing purposes and not as your</text><text start="472.72" dur="5.44">daily usage os so there you go</text><text start="475.12" dur="5.44">now let's have a look here um</text><text start="478.16" dur="4.879">that looks fine except that then we have</text><text start="480.56" dur="4.479">the unpartitioned disk space here</text><text start="483.039" dur="3.121">so if i press enter that should create</text><text start="485.039" dur="3.201">one um</text><text start="486.16" dur="3.2">and then we can select a file system</text><text start="488.24" dur="3.92">here as well</text><text start="489.36" dur="5.04">now we do have the um butter fs there as</text><text start="492.16" dur="5.439">well which i have used in linux before</text><text start="494.4" dur="4.239">obviously we are trying to copy windows</text><text start="497.599" dur="3.361">as it were so i think</text><text start="498.639" dur="4.481">probably the fat file system which</text><text start="500.96" dur="3.84">obviously is in windows will probably be</text><text start="503.12" dur="2.639">a better choice i could be wrong but</text><text start="504.8" dur="3.679">we'll go with that</text><text start="505.759" dur="4.56">and we'll do a quick format and then it</text><text start="508.479" dur="3.521">asks which directory you want to install</text><text start="510.319" dur="3.121">the react os files in so</text><text start="512" dur="3.44">you know normally on windows you put it</text><text start="513.44" dur="6.159">in slash windows obviously</text><text start="515.44" dur="6.079">in here it will be slash react os</text><text start="519.599" dur="3.041">and then the installer is doing its</text><text start="521.519" dur="4.161">thing and</text><text start="522.64" dur="3.04">it seems pretty quick</text><text start="525.839" dur="3.921">install the bootloader yeah we'll do</text><text start="527.44" dur="3.519">that and there we go we're at the stage</text><text start="529.76" dur="3.199">now where</text><text start="530.959" dur="3.041">we are ready to reboot and run it by the</text><text start="532.959" dur="4.401">looks of it so what i'll do</text><text start="534" dur="5.12">is here we also need to remove the um</text><text start="537.36" dur="5.52">the cd image before we reboot so i'll</text><text start="539.12" dur="9.12">pause it and then we can go to</text><text start="542.88" dur="7.68">just remove that there we go</text><text start="548.24" dur="3.76">and that was really fast i mean i don't</text><text start="550.56" dur="3.12">know when the last time you installed</text><text start="552" was</text><text start="1465.76" dur="3.12">really impressed with the install</text><text start="1467.2" dur="4.32">process from the package manager</text><text start="1468.88" dur="3.12">everything automatically downloaded no</text><text start="1471.52" dur="2.48">errors</text><text start="1472" dur="3.76">it incrementally installed everything</text><text start="1474" dur="3.2">and it looks like the programs i</text><text start="1475.76" dur="3.68">selected have all installed</text><text start="1477.2" dur="4.24">successfully and as you can see there</text><text start="1479.44" dur="2.88">are a bunch of them on the desktop</text><text start="1481.44" dur="3.76">already</text><text start="1482.32" dur="4.479">and so we'll try audacity the audio</text><text start="1485.2" haven't</text><text start="1497.36" dur="3.6">got a microphone or anything attached so</text><text start="1499.2" dur="2.32">um yeah i imagine that's not going to</text><text
