so a couple weeks ago i went through theeffort of trying to installos to warp version 4 on the ibm thinkpadt43why would i want to do such a thing wellthe ibm thinkpad t43is the last official ibm thinkpad thathas native os 2 support[Music]however you got to do your researchbecausei found it the hard way that this onehas an intel display now why does thatmatterwell i'll tell you why it mattersbecauseos2 only worked on the ati displayso i tried so many times to try toinstall itand it just didn't work oh my godso yeah that was a big waste of the daysonow i have a t43 that is completelyuseless to me likewhat am i gonna do with this thing nowinstall windows xpmaybe so i was just like okay i'll justfinda thinkpad with an ati display so i wentover to ebay andwhat the hell what the hell is this565 dollarsare you freaking kidding me are youfreaking kidding me auction starting at320oh my god what are these priceslike what the hell manfor a business laptop from 2005 thatcannot possiblybe used as a daily driver in the year2021with a single core processor andprobably 512 megs of ramcome on where are these prices comingfrom so you want to know what i didyou want to know what i did oh and bythe way to you guyswho think that the t43 is aquote-unquotegaming laptop get a reality check pleasebecause i see it on ebay all the timebut yeah this aired out so what did iend up doingi bought another one yeah so i boughtanothert43 so now i got two of themand look at this so open it upyeah yeahati display so it's gonna work butoh my god the keyboard is so worn outlook at the kanji keyyou can literally see my reflection inthe kanji key and look at this trackpointwhat is this this is like one from the90s turn this thing onso yeah this one came with the americankeyboard so i'm i'm going to do akeyboard swapit's ridiculous but yeah this one hasxp service pack 2 on it for whateverreasonand like that's useless soyeah i'm going to install os2 on thisand hopefullythis goes overall and i'm not installingthe japanese version because i cannotfindthe japanese version of 4.52 i can onlyfind theenglish release so that's what we'regoing to be doingso yeah i bought this thing for uh 6000yen which is about 60 bucksso and i bought this one this uselessonefor 5000 yen so in total i spent 11000 yen or 110 dollars on twot43s so yeah i overpaidlike a i understand thatyou may think likeyou're really stupid but i really wantto do this because if i can have adedicatedalways to warp computer that i can bringon the go that has the most modernversion of warpi'd be the biggest baller ever and alsowho the installs norton are you seriousi'm guessing this computer hasn't beenused in over a decade and they haven'teven installed the fingerprint readerlike oh my godthis has the potential that would be amain driver for os2has the big potential and if i can dothis i will install some nice softwarei'll recommend some software for uos 2usersyeah now with the keyboard swap and abrand new 30 gig hard drivethis thing should be good to gookay now we got this thing plugged inwith our brand new hard drive let's setthe boot order and thenwe can finally install some os2 let'shope the keyboard worksyes it does nice and nicelyand that's an issue with the t43s wherethey're very picky on their hard drivesi mean that's no big deal thoughthis thing is level of customization windows 10does not even comeclose windows 10 you can barelycustomize it at all with os2 you canpretty much customizeevery single element to make it the waythat you want it to bewe got warp calcan actual calculator program i don'tknow why ibm didn't bundle one inwe got the full lotus smart suite rightheregot everything we can go on the internetwe can draw a picture yeah we can dowe can do pretty much everything it isperfection if you buy a t43i know 95 percent of people who buythese are just going to install windowsxpi highly highly highlyrecommend this i knowit doesn't seem like i'm a little rustywhen it comes to this stuff i'm going tobe honesti know what i'm doing but at the sametime i don't know what i'm doingbut i hope i can come way moreproficient in this
