dur="3.78">education my father taught himself how</text><text start="77.61" dur="4.17">to read taught himself how to write</text><text start="79.17" dur="4.8">decided in the midst of Jim Crow ISM Trina&amp;#39;s a senior</text><text start="381.02" dur="4.66">in college I&amp;#39;m still a freshman but I&amp;#39;m</text><text start="383.09" dur="5.41">working some things out</text><text propose so I talked to her</text><text start="396.25" dur="4.32">girlfriends and it&amp;#39;s California it&amp;#39;s in</text><text start="398.62" dur="4.11">the 70s so it has to be outside let&amp;#39;s</text><text start="400.57" dur="3.96">have a candle and you have to have you</text><text start="402.73" dur="3.39">know some chocolate listen I&amp;#39;m from the</text><text start="404.53" dur="6.78">hood add a bottle of Boone&amp;#39;s Farm wine</text><text start="406.12" dur="7.05">that&amp;#39;s what I had she said yes that was</text><text start="411.31" dur="3.6">the key I married the most beautiful</text><text start="413.17" dur="3.21">woman I&amp;#39;ve ever seen him up</text><text start="414.91" dur="2.85">y&amp;#39;all ever been to a wedding and even</text><text start="416.38" dur="7.98">before the wedding starts you hear this</text><text start="417.76" dur="10.16">how in the world and it was coming from</text><text start="424.36" dur="3.56">my side of the family</text><text start="430.57" dur="6.18">we get married we have a few children</text><text start="432.67" dur="7.55">our lives are great one day Trina finds</text><text start="436.75" dur="7.14">a lump in her left breasts breast cancer</text><text start="440.22" dur="5.2">six years after that diagnosis me and my</text><text start="443.89" dur="5.76">two little boys walked up to mommy&amp;#39;s</text><text start="445.42" dur="6.69">casket and for two years my heart didn&amp;#39;t</text><text start="449.65" dur="4.8">beat it wasn&amp;#39;t for my faith in God I</text><text start="452.11" dur="4.65">wouldn&amp;#39;t be standing here today if it</text><text start="454.45" dur="5.28">wasn&amp;#39;t for those two little boys there&amp;#39;d</text><text start="456.76" dur="9.06">have been no reason for which to go on I</text><text start="459.73" dur="9.69">was completely lost that was rock bottom</text><text start="465.82" dur="7.17">you know what sustained me the wisdom of</text><text start="469.42" dur="6.78">a third grade dropout the wisdom of a</text><text start="472.99" dur="5.88">simple cook we&amp;#39;re at the casket I&amp;#39;ve</text><text start="476.2" dur="4.17">never seen my dad cry but this time I</text><text start="478.87" dur="3.57">saw my dad cry that was his daughter</text><text start="480.37" dur="4.14">Trina was his daughter not his</text><text start="482.44" dur="3.51">daughter-in-law and I&amp;#39;m right behind my</text><text start="484.51" dur="4.2">father about to see her for the last</text><text start="485.95" dur="4.8">time on this earth and my father shared</text><text start="488.71" dur="4.08">three words with me to change my life</text><text start="490.75"
