tututututu hahahaha...You made me laugh so hard girl! hahahaha...What a wonderful birds aren't they? Reminds me of the times we went to the little mini zoo's on farms when we were kids. We used to go up there with my grandparents and those peacocks were always fanning and screaming like "get out of my way" and parading around hahaha...Gorgeous! TFS! xxDebbie

Do you suppose they might have watched the dancing in the past?....lol...The myth is that the Peacock being such a vain bird that when they would see their feet they would scream in horror....I am not sure if the word you were looking for was plumage?!? TFS...a real treat for me.

@JBLdyScrapper48 Karen, I showed this to my hubby and he loved it! We only saw 2 or 3 in Cocoa Beach, and we sure aren't used to seeing them along the road. I'll be looking for the crane video. We get those here but not in our yard. They pretty much stay close to a waterfowl haven, Creamer's Field. xoxo Joan

When I was a little girl and lived across the street from this plaza (long before it was there), we would play in the dunes. One afternoon a bunch of us found a litter of kittens and I took one home, my dad flipped out, it wasn't a kitten at all, it was a Florida Bobcat, that area used to be absolutely full of wildlife.

@junbug1029 Hi Joan -- I couldn't wait to share this with you! We really are a world apart huh?! LOL You with all your snow and moose, and me with all the sunshine and peacock! LOL I think they must have been looking at their reflections in the store window. They are a vain bird! Next time I wake up and find tall sandhill cranes in my driveway I'll try to capture that for you too. I'm glad you got a kick out of this! ;) Big hugs! - Karen

I went to see an outdoor rendition of Romeo and Juliet and a very old half ruined stately home just round the corner from me"Kirby Hall"a few years ago and just as the moon was cresting the tower two of the Peacocks flew up there and stole the show lol. They are beautiful animals even the Peahens can be pretty. TFS! Hugs Sheron

I think the one on the bench is showing off for you. They are so pretty, and what a treat to see so many. There are a lot of people down here in SW FL that have them as well, but not so many in one place! They scream at night, don't they? It's scary. lol tfs hugs, Kimberly
