If I were going to attack and pillage the next city over ; I'd mount loudspeakers on my tanks and play this tune (Warrior) .......cranked , as we rolled into battle !

Wishbone Ash never got the credit they deserved. Perhaps overshadowed by Zeppelin & Sabbath at the time.

Maybe the fact that not everybody got them makes them a little cooler?

Oh wow, just stumbled onto this! I'd all but forgotten about these guys! Man, what memories.....

Free your Mind of Time ...Great Song ...

Fine band, fine musicianship, fine song :-)

I like this song but the vocal melody in the chorus is the same as the verses in monty pythons 'the lumberjack song' !! very distracting!
Report spam or abuse
Live vocals, not fed through some gizmo to make it sound better. That's why we used to go watch these bands, because they sounded so good alive. God I miss those concerts.

Can't wait to go and see them May 11 in Seattle WA....... Awesome band

KEEP THE SPIRIT OF ROCK ALIVE Also, I SALUTE YOU!

Boy, you can hear where Michael Schenker got alot of his influence, Andy Powell and Michael are musical brothers.
Report spam or abuse
Man.. this is great. Argus is one of my favourite albums. Steve Harris of Iron Maiden is a big fan too. There are similarities between the bands. I believe Martin Birch produced both bands aswell.

Hey bearfromalex, You say Guns n' Roses, I call 'em Cums n' Blow-Jobs You say Metallica, I call 'em Mentalica Retarded. You say Pink Floyd, I call 'em Dink Void. I agree Rap is Crap. But so is the other stuff. Rock has been dead since 1974.

@44elisdad There are a lot of those lost 70's albums. Try Manfred Mann's Nightingales and Bombers, or Kansas " Masque "

If a band had a David Gilmour or Steve Howe they wouldn't need 2 leads.

great band, great tune, great message

@istimewa1x Wishbone Ash formed in October 1969, Allman Brothers in March of the same year. The Allman's rise came in 71 in the US with the Fillmore title, Ash in 1970 in Europe with their eponymous title. I'd hazard a guess that neither particularly influenced the other in their twin lead approach in the early days, but who knows ...

Loved the 70's. the days of the really good rock music

@MrMegaFredzeppelin: Maybe in the way of influence and technique, but in many cases, you just have to give in to appreciating a particular band for their particular offering. Wishbone Ash, obscure today, offered music that was unbelievably meaty and intense.

Opeth would do justice to this as a cover.

Definition of Insanity - Got to See Great bands for FREE on TV and now they force people to pay for CRAP on Cable , Internet ... ipod , isuckers and wow , I think it coincides people who like the Ash , like Grand Funk and hate Kiss ... like Joe Walsh hate Bono .

I saw Wishbone Ash on their first American tour, before they were really know. I paid $5.00 for a front row seat. They were awesome!!!!!!!! I have seen hundreds of performers and they are one of the best.
