I'm currently 250 lbs. About two and a half years ago I weighed 150 lbs. at that time of my life I was heavy on drugs, alcohol, and smoking 3 packs a day. I did something most people won't. Not only did I stop taking drugs, but I also quit drinking, and most importantly I quit smoking. But before I could accomplish my goals I checked myself into the hospital for about 3 weeks. I had to get help for my mental health could change too. Since then I am now clean, sober, and I still haven't touched a cigarette since. Sadly I have ballooned gaining 100 lbs. It's embarrassing being so fat, and have lived most of my life as the skinny kid,. A week ago I have decided to take back my life and succeed. To succeed you have to remind yourself that there is no such thing as the word "cant". It's actually will or won't.

I finely woke up got off my cabos want to the doctors 4 a check up .Doctors said it's ok 4 me to join the Gym and workouts .have lost 50% of my stomach fat off ! " feeling better then over !!" You can start at any age !!" , JUST DO IT !!" .

Finally got my Chevy fixed now I can drive to the GYM now .but I have to it meant I miss riding the bike from my house to Glendora Fitness 24 Hour Fitness gym , Reynaldo .

I'm currently 240 pounds.. I diet, (heavy) lift daily, run as much as my skinny friends, but I barely make any progress. I barely eat, I workout pretty much every minute I have free time, but I am making very slow progress. Any tips?

Son I'm proud of you. I'm 50 but have always stayed in good shape just because I start to hate myself if I start to slip and put on a few pounds. I preach a lot to your generation to stay fit because your generation is the most unhealthiest so far with more obese kids then ever. This is because of all the available fast easy foods and the computers and video games etc. In my day we went out on the street and played football after school, not sit at home playing video games. I'm glad you made the change NOW instead of later. It gets harder as you get older. And it's a LOT easier to KEEP in shape than it is to try and GET in shape when you're so out of shape. Don't lose all that hard work... make this a permanent change in lifestyle. Don't deprive yourself of goodies sometimes just STAY ACTIVE and you CAN cheat on the goodies and get away with it! Best of luck! I bet NOW you're getting the chicks attention huh?

Okay, I am 16 and I weight 228. In the picture of you sitting down with your man boobs like that big you weren't no 210. That is like 260 at least. I don't even have man boobs and my stomach isn't even big.

I've never suffered with weight problems. Always been very fit, naturally. But it is a lot of work and I respect what he's done. Others were making fun of him, that is not my way.

Man I know exactly what that feels like I am 14 and I am 156 pounds I used to weigh 210 pounds until I lost all that weight over the summer. Good job man keep it up!

I'm only 13 and I shouldn't worry too much about my weight because I'm at a healthy weight and I'm happy. but I want to be muscular and tone my body during summer. that's why I'll be taking kickboxing and be active! your an inspriration to make me work harder! thank you and I hope you stay fit forever c:

1:21 he should've stayed right there and just stuck to weights. Cause I used to be fat and decided to run everyday with my sister cause I was getting so insecure. I went from 187 to 143 and 5'7/5'8 in height. Diets would consist for breakfast a nature valley bar and water (lots of it) nature valley bars were my lunch too and dinner would be anything my mom would make (usually chicken with rice and beans). Point is I kept losing weight cause of being so insecure and got too skinny where I felt I was a skeleton and I was dealing with another insecurity (my scrony body). Made me wish I stopped trying to lose weight somewhere in the middle. But if this man right here who I respect for achieving his goal, is happy and confident by all means I'm happy for him. I'm now 185 5'11 and continue going to the gym and am happy and confident. My story might not be a good example but to cut it short. Don't let insecurities blind you. Make sure you're comfortable with yourself and will be. Idk if this will make sense since I just got back home from work but oh well hope anyone can relate or use this somehow :).

OHMYJESUS Lol I'm 13 yrs old 5ft 9in and weigh like 202 pounds this.... this makes me sad.... although i lost about 2 or 3 pounds without kinda realizing it though....

when I was 13 I was 6'1" 250 lbs, I ran every day and ate less, and I lost 50 lbs in about 4 months.  It was worth it, but I lost weight the wrong way.  Instead of changing my diet, I ate the same stuff but less of it.  What I should have done instead was increased my protein while cutting out simple carbohydrates like cookies, white bread, etc. My blood pressure also got so low from losing it quickly that I had to see a cardiologist, so in hindsight I would have lost weight at a slower pace.

great achievement dude! and i think the biggest statement you made was at the end. so many people think they'll never do it cause they haven't been able to be motivated in the past. THATS NOT TRUE! you just haven't found that that ONE big motive to do it! cause trust me when you do! you simply become obsessed! I'm speaking speaking from experience, for me i wasnt over weight but was underweight. I was a twig. For years i tried to gym to put on some weight. but would always last like a month. Then i found one motivation! And have not stopped for 3 years. I was 6 foot 60Kg's and now I'm 85Kg and lean! JUST FIND THAT ONE THING!! and trust me it will change everything!

In 2012 at 16 years old, my mother past away and at the time I weighed 340 pounds.. That year I changed drastically just like you and in exactly a year after I was weighed in for football in 2012 at 340, I weighed 236. All I did was change my diet, run, and enjoy life. Anyone can do it, they just have to believe.. I'm now 225-230 in 2015 and I've become a lot more muscular after dropping to 215 then putting on 15 lbs of muscle. The only thing is that I have quite a bit of extra skin around my stomach, other wise I'd have visible abs, something I've always wanted. But congrats on your transformation, it's awesome to see people like me.

GREAT for yourself!!!  When I was 15, I did the same thing for "baby fat" and a tummy, altho I was a competition swimmer since 4th grade. City swim teams, high school, college and swam in a lake.  I took up Hatha Yoga, I did it every day of my life for at least 8 yrs., taught Hatha Yoga and my results were 100% identical .(different body structure). It IS the will and the desire. After so long, you don't notice it has become a lifestyle change. At 58, my body still has muscle memory and when I do one or two (1 or 2), asanas, my body wants more. Amazing.      I'm so happy for you and so glad the computer is here for you to get your self knowledge out here! For all the folk who keep "thinking" it can't be done. Keep up the great work, even if at some point you feel like stopping, it may happen. Work past it and keep going Good luck to you all your life!
