UFC 140 Lyoto the Dragon Machida will BEAT Jon Jones!!!!

by IntheTubeDeep • 2,057 views

MMA and UFC fans this is my take on the Lyoto vs Jones, Lyoto by TKO!! The Dragon will frustrate Jones, and finally get to him in the later rounds, I hope! Jones is amazing, but everyones loses and...

@CaesarThaApeGod Not a good idea to promise something out of your hands! Machida is tricky, and a karate master, Jones has never faced an opponent like the dragon, I hope Machida beats Jones because I dont see anyone out there that has a good chance of beating Jones, maybe Spider if he goes up to LHW again or even Sonnen if put some weight on, so in my view its Machida or bust.

@Legendofmma Yeah those were brutal also, but to see the UFC LHW champ Rua essentially trying to tap as Jones delivered that last knew to the head takes the cake-- watch it as he's falling down he tries with his last bit of strength to tap out-- almost sadly...Rua was thought to be the true LHW champ and he was BRUTALLY DEMOLISHED

@CaesarThaApeGod Jones is awesome for sure, but I think he might be feeling the pressure, and Rashad is in his head maybe he's looking past Machida to get Evans in the Octagon. Rampage did not hurt Machida at all, Rua yeah he KOd him but that punch was a temple punch, even the toughest guys fall when they get hit high on the temple-- ask Cain! Jones will lose to someone, it maybe be Lyoto, I'm betting on the Dragon-- we'll know Dec 10.

@HitEmUpAKA Yeah Rampage thought he lost for sure-anyway its like Dana always says 'don't leave it in the hands of the judges' As for Jones loss I really meant that no one has really beat him, yeah he was DQ'd but he was killing Hamill! I just hope Machida teaches Jones a few new lessons on Dec 10...

@inthetubedeep No I think he will be in time, but yeah He definitely will move up to HW

@CaesarThaApeGod Remember when Machida faced Muay Thai killing machine Thiago Silva, he destroyed him, and its like Dana White always says-- 'theres only one way to know we'll find out when they fight' We'll see if Jones is as good as you all believe.

Fight ended exactly how most of knew it would. First round would be a test of standup with Lyoto probably outscoring Jon. Second round would be a short clinch game with Jones finishing the fight. Jones is too good of a wrestler and grappler for it NOT to be an extremely likely scenario of him closing distance and as was said, Machida cant compete with him in that sphere.

@inthetubedeep Machida is not that tricky, just don't play his game and chase him and you'll be fine. Besides Machida fighting Muay Thi fighters he never faced anyone like Jones either. Jones has a huge advantage over Machida and he knows how to exploit it to the fullest.

@80anth We'll see on Dec 10-- my guess is Machida will surprise Jones and take him out of his game plan, he's still really young and hasn't seen it all, Machida has almost twice as many fights, he's way more seasoned than Jones also. Sure Jones is a big favorite, but I'm saying Machida takes his belt back!!

Machida will win by Ko styles make fights jons is not that powerful and the speed is about the same KARATE STYLE VS JUST THROW SOME SHIT AND RUN AFTER IF IT DON'T LAND! jons gonna get caught just like his partner rashad..

@CaesarThaApeGod That was not a legit loss-- that was bogus, he was destroying Hamill, Machida is gonna give Jones his first REAL loss! I thought Machida won the Rampage fight 2-1 split, I thought the 3rd rd was 10-8 for Machida even Rampage afterwards was saying Machida hurt him bad which pissed Dana White off!! I say Machida will out smart Jones, I think he will have to sub or ko/tko to win.

uh, you might wanna take this down now buddy

Ha, ha, ha, ha, I bet you will take this video down now huh? Choked out!!

@inthetubedeep "Out smart Jones" Haha At this point it's safe to say that Jones is definately not a dumb fighter and makes little to no mistakes in fights. He knows his advantages and disadvantages aswell as his opponent's, he exploits his advantages and stays far away from his disadvantages that's part of the reason he is so dominant. Machida has been figured out all ready...Don't be aggressive, don't chase him, be patient and pick your shots, and you'll do fine. Shogun exposed him.

@Legendofmma I knew Jones was awesome, I said that I just hoped Machida would make him look human-- didn't happen...well it did for 1 rd! In my opinion Jones' beat down of Rua was one of the worst if not THE WORST beat down in UFC history, now I think the only man who has a chance to beat jones is Anderson Silva-- maybe even Sonnen if he would move up to LHW, Jones is gonna walk through everyone else in the division.

@inthetubedeep Jones did lose to someone, Matt Hamill :) Jones' losing days are over for the time being. I doubt Jones is thinking of anyone but Machida, besides he has no idea who his next opponent will be. Hendo beat Shogun, Rashad is fighting Phil Davis at the next UFC on Fox, and fighters get injured quite often in the LHW division. I watched that Rampage Machida fight alot, Rampage rocked Machida with a uppercut in the 2nd.and landed alot in the clinch. Jones will own Machida in the clinch.

@inthetubedeep Yea it was deffinattly one of the wrost i would say the 3rd wrost beatdown in ufc history the first would be bj penn vs diego sanchez and secound would be junior dos santos vs shane carwin and third would obviously go to jon jones vs shogun in my opinion...

Yeah i hoped so too, but this nigga jon jones is the real deal,, anderson silva is the only one who can beat him..

@HitEmUpAKA Anyone with knowledge of Muay Thi will tell you that Jones and Shogun have similar styles. Jones switches up his stance alot but he mostly stands in the traditional Muay Thi stance with light front leg, 1 arm guiding the range, and the other arm for defense llke Shogun, the only difference is Shogun is orthodox and Jones is southpaw. Shogun hurt Machida with Leg-kicks Jones will do the same, also like Rampage. Jones' striking isn't the best but it still made Shogun tap...

@RedDeadMaster1000 Not at all-- just bummed it ended like that, Machida won the 1st rd but Jones was superior, now I think the only fighters that have a chance this year to beat Jones are Spider Silva, and Chael Sonnen if he moved up to LHW. Its a joke guys like Silva are fighting at 185 the guy walks around at 220!! Sonnen could easily I reckon go to 205 no worries. Hendo, Evans, Davis have no chance to beat Jones...

@RedDeadMaster1000 You might already consider Jones an all time great, after the year he had- time will tell, but I see Jones moving up to HW after a year or 2 of dominating at LHW, the guy is 6'4, he cant stay at 205 forever-- hes gonna add weight as he ages, and he'll want a challenge-- look for him to move to HW and take on JDS!

I totally agree with ya man!!! I think Machida will be able to cover Jones reach with the way he leaps using his Karate and I think that he will be very elusive and that will frustrate Jones. Machida is also trained in Sumo which is very unusual for MMA fighters and it is going to be difficult for Machida to be pushed around and taken down. I think Machida will win by TKO or even KO... Just my opinion but I love Machida style!

i can tell your a black house fan. haha yea I think lyoto will give jones the most trouble. the thing about jones is that he's so tall and lengthy and thats what gives all his opponents trouble. and Im a HUGE JDS fan also. he says he wants to try out for the 2016 olympic boxing in brazil. I doubt DANA WHITE will alow him to do that though....

@HitEmUpAKA Shogun's striking style is Muay Thi, Jones is Muay Thi...How they execute the style may be different but it's the same style. Shogun is definately not the wild fighter he used to be in Pride. Now he is calm, strategic and more technical instead of just jumping all over guys like in Pride. How do you think fighters prepare for each other ? They watch videos of previous fights where their opponents had trouble. Machida only had trouble in 3 fights. Shogun gave him the most.

@aad1969 Yup well said, Machida and Cigano will always be my favorite fighters, after seeing that destruction I think Anderson Silva could beat Jones, that would be a HUGE fight, and I'd say even Sonnen would have a shot if he moved up to LHW which I'm sure he could do. Its gonna take a great counter striker like Machida or Silva to beat him or a great wrestler like Sonnen...

@inthetubedeep its funny how your just now relizing how good jon jones is you should have known that since his first or secound match in the ufc if not that it should have been obvious after he made quick work of shogun rua...

@CaesarThaApeGod Jones' beat down of Rua was one of THE worst beatings in UFC history, just pure brutality!! I'm surprised Rua came back-- I thought that beating would ruin him-- apparently it didnt... ok ok, Dec 10 will tell us who's right, Machida by TKO!
Report spam or abuse
@inthetubedeep I agree with you completely, accept the part about being bummed about Jones' win, considering he's my favourite fighter, I think he has a chance to be an all time great, do you agree?
Report spam or abuse
@inthetubedeep Actually I think Machida made him look human in the 1st round caught him with some punches even stunned and came close to droppinh him.
Report spam or abuse
@ethernine Yeah good point-- definitely gonna be a tough fight, I I think Jones is gonna be seeing feet and fists hitting him from places he doesn't expect-- just like Rashad
Report spam or abuse
@inthetubedeep Yeah but he was super aggressive (what Machida wants) and he got destroyed...Shogun was the opposite of Thiago. He was very patient, took his time waiting for openings, and attacked at the right times instead of chasing Machida trying to KO him every second. I think Jones will fight like Shogun and not Thiago.
Report spam or abuse
@HitEmUpAKA Yeah styles make fights and Jones and Shogun have pretty much the same striking style, Muay Thi. Jones vs Machida will look like Shogun vs Machida 1. Shogun figured out Machida...All of Machida's opponents before Shogun all tried to be aggressive, head-hunt, and chase Machida all over the cage and they all would get countered. Shogun was the only one who fought patient vs Machida and attack his body and legs and had the most success. Jones will do the same I promise you.

yep i thought the same but jon jones destroyed Machida, I never seen a knock out like that. Lyoto before was my idol but after this fight I think there is not anybody who can defeat jon jones. I would tell that Jon jones is the michael Jordan of MMa, I dont see anybody with enought skills to defeat this monster. Sorry but its the true, I watched him fighting against Rampage, and almost killed him too. So right now Jon Jones is the best pound by pound.

@inthetubedeep REALLY!!! Chael Sonnen!! Really?? C'mon man. Jones tosses Light Heavyweights around like rag dolls and you think Sonnen, who is a small middleweight could move up and out wrestle Jones??? Really??? Do you believe in Unicorns and the Tooth fairy too? Cause you are living in a fantasy world. No disrespect bro..

@Damondeeh20 Yeah true, too bad it ended like that, but in Machida's defense he came to fight, and left it all in the Octagon, he said 'this fight will not go to the judges' he was right...

@CaesarThaApeGod Maybe not yet but you'll see it Dec 10...

LOL ask Shogun and Rampage how elusive Machida is...They had no problem hitting him And NOBODY frustrates Jones, he is the most relaxed fighter in the UFC.

@TheGrizzzle Yes I am-- I drive by Black House a few times per week, I'm gonna have to drop in one of these days! Yeah heard JDS wanted to box in '16 Olympics, thats a long way off! Jones is gonna be a tough fight for sure, I just hope Machida teaches him a few lessons!! Jones will lose someday-- Machida has the style to take him out we'll see Dec. 10!

what's all this talk about jon jones & shogun...? they both do muy thai... and u can lay that to rest. as far as jon jones goes, i think he'll be like brandon vera... he'll be popular for a while... then he'll disappear. everyone has strengths & weaknesses... even anderson silva showed he could be beat... and hope nick diaz works on his take-down defense cause his boxing is much better than gsp's... over n out...

I think Machida will narrowly be defeated and there will be Machida vs Jones 2 and Jones will win the rematch again.

@HitEmUpAKA Like I said before "Shogun's striking style is Muay Thi, Jones is Muay Thi...How they execute the style may be different but it's the same style". I don't remember there ever being a fight where Jones was losing the stand up, please show me this fight I want to see it....

@inthetubedeep Silva maybe, but with him being 37 and Jones 24 and still needing to clear out the division like Silva has, I dont see this superfight ever happening. I dont think there is anybody fighting now that could beat Jones. That being said, Jones is just the beginning of this new breed of mma fighters. There will be another fighter who comes along and might even make Jones look foolish. Just a great time to be a fan.

I think Jones will walk right through him.

@ethernine, I always said that if Machida could possibly outstrike Jon Jones despite of his reach advantage, but if Jon Jones gets a hold of him, it's over, and that's exactly what happened..

@codejjm Can't get em all right, Jones is just too good now, long live the Dragon!!
