Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny in the Same Scene

by Itsbestbro • 207,596 views

To me this is one of the greatest moments in cinema history seeing Mickey and Bugs together in the same scene, Disney and Warner Bros working side by side. Lets hope Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2 will...

It's a spare, all right! A SPARE TIRE!!! XD

Ahhhh, Bugs still being a fucking  douche. Whats better?

Bugs Bunny the original troll hahaha.

+Retro Sonic the Hedgehog Indeed it does. I find it odd to see Mickey mention getting killed and then laughing about it..
Report spam or abuse
Well uh look on the bright side...he did let him have it! XD
Report spam or abuse
I just want to see Mickey & Bugs fight one day. Would be the most epic fight of all fights.
Report spam or abuse
As they say, Let the best rabbit win XD
Report spam or abuse
+mannystella Oh he will win all right XD

Another thing that makes this film great is Mel Blanc got to voice Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig for the final time. RIP, Mel...

Lol what are the odds of falling from a building when the 2 greatest cartoons of all time are para-shooting next to you
Report spam or abuse
I think Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a classic film! Whete else are you going to to see "toon stars from other studios on screen together? I wish Disney would do more funny stuff like this, instead of syrupy, sappy stuff, like Frozen! !! You haters and cynics need to laugh more, btw!
Report spam or abuse
This scene alone is the reason I love this movie so much.

+Conor KWalsh  Yes. There had been loads of fan pictures featuring this cartoon rivalry. Some of those pictures display them as two perfect cartoon replicas of... A CHUCK NORRIS! "A CHUCK NORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!" Sorry! Couldn't resist Nostalgia Critic reference!

Disney and Warner Bros. agreed having this scene, as long as they had the same amount of lines and frames.
Report spam or abuse
It had to be down to the millisecond

What movie was this scene in
Report spam or abuse
Um, who framed roger rabbit. It's in the description.

Bugs Bunny V. Mickey Mouse: Clash of the Classics! coming to theaters when WB and Disney run out of ideas

This scene still brings me joy. Two companies putting their rivalries to the side and making a fun cameo.

I always thought of Bugs Bunny as the wise cracking uncle and Mickey Mouse as the loving protective father of America. .. if only they would be willing to do this again, and maybe show a little rivalry between them.

Greatest moment in cartoon and maybe even Cinematic history

Eddie, don't you know? Never ask a toon for a spare;)

Or a Looney Tunes character that would be a huge mistake.

Watched this when I was little... Still never get old! :)

Much better than Space Jam...

Now we have three late greats featured in this scene; Mel Blanc (Bugs Bunny), Wayne Allwine (Mickey Mouse) and Bob Hoskins. May they all rest in peace.

RIP BOB HOSKINS a favorite actor of mine
Report spam or abuse
Just seeing them onscreen together makes me at a loss for words!

great scene but disney conned the agrrement! both were supposed to have equal screen time but as u can see at the beginning mickey got more! lol

The mascot of Disney and the mascot of Warner at the same time? I'm surprised they're so friendly considering that Warner and Disney are rivals.
Report spam or abuse
The head of Marvel played golf with the head of DC. There are companies, and then there are people. Besides, Daffy and Donald duke it out pretty good.
Report spam or abuse
+kash smith Well, many Marvel artists left for DC (and also the other way around) during the silver age of comics. And back then Marvel and DC weren't nearly as big as they are today so many workers of both companies knew each other. So obviously it was a friendly rivalry. But Disney and Warner are huge corporations.

What movie is this?

Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I think it would be cool if Oswald and Yakko, or Oswald and Bugs were in a scene together. Then, Oswald and Yakko could figure out why they look kind of alike! If Oswald were with Bugs, maybe they could talk about working with ducks who can get a temper! LOL.
Report spam or abuse
If this was Kingdom Heart's Sora, I'm sure he will hit Bugs with his key.
Report spam or abuse
Nah. Bugs would troll him.
Report spam or abuse
Wonder what Disney and Warner had to go through to make that one scene happen?
Report spam or abuse
They make fun of each other all the time! Truly, I was expecting Marvel to meager with Disney one way or another, but the one aspect of the Disney/WB rivalry that I find is extremely awkward is the fact that The Matrix was inspired by a Disney classic. A Dexter's Laboratory episode was a direct parody to that very sci-fi movie that everyone connects with Daft Punk these days. If you don't know what I'm talking about, not sure where you had been for the past 3 years since Tobuscus was just getting started.
Report spam or abuse
Oh, of all things it had to be a white wall. XD
Report spam or abuse
Fun Fact: This is the only time in history Bugs Bunny And Mickey Mouse appeared in the same screen, same goes for Donald and Daffy
Report spam or abuse
R.I.P Bob Hoskins. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is my all-time favorite movie and your brilliant acting is one of the many things that made the movie work so well. Love the scene where he makes the weasels die laughing.
Report spam or abuse
How does his hat still keep in place??? Lol
Report spam or abuse
+LaPetitBallerine That's only a piece of it.This movie is the first and so far ONLY time Disney and Warner Brothers actually worked with each other, which will likely never happen again. This also is the last time most of the character's original voice actors, including Mel Blanc, ever performed.

+MonguinAssassin are you talking about Newsies. What happened

Wreck It Ralph 2 should have a scene similar to this one with Mario and Sonic

It would be even cooler if they paid homage to this scene and had them skydiving for some reason

R.I.P. Bob Hoskins. I will share this video on Facebook. This was 1 of my favorite scenes in this movie & the funniest.

I remember Robert Zemeckis went through hell getting Warner Bros. and Disney to both agree to be in the same movie.  Disney said they'd only agree if they could get the same amount of screen time as Warner Bros. major characters.  So, to solve the dillema, they just had both of them share the screen in the same scene in various parts of the movie.  Bugs/Mickey, Donald/Daffy, etc.

RIP Bob Hoskins, Mel Blanc and Wayne Allwine.
Report spam or abuse
Wait. I thought that they were together so they would have the same amount of screentime but mickey had an extra 2 seconds at the beginning.

They had the same amount of lines, that was the deal Spielberg negotiated with Warner Bros. and Disney.

Bugs =  cool Mickey = geeky Together = worst pairing ever

+FamilyGuyFanSince2008 Well, the pairing part sounds like an unpopular opinion, but nevermind, then.
Report spam or abuse
+AwesomeCasey795 I just see Mickey and Bugs as two completely different characters. One I've never been ashamed to like and still love, the other who is overly silly and family friendly and who I loathe with passion...no offense to anyone's opinion.

The single greatest moment in animation history

You can say that again!

For some reason, I seem to remember Bugs and Mickey high-fiving each other at the end of their scene. Although clearly that isn't the case.  Weird right?

Did Bugs pull that spare out of his butt?

I completely agree. This truly is one of the greatest moments in animated history period. Words can't describe how epic it is to see these two legends share the screen!

Bound to happen. Oh, and I'm STILL waiting for The Incredibles to take more notice on that behalf. I mean COME ON! Nick Fury is the only main superhero character in that Pixar classic that was not part of the Incredibles family! And when I mean Nick Fury, I mean Nick FROZONE Fury who could easily sit with Robert Downy Jr's Tony Stark and Mr. Incredible commenting on Batman and Robin making fun of Mr. Freeze and Arnold Schwarzenegger the entire time.

Let me know when Marvel starts releasing Incredibles comic books.

I never truly appreciated this scene when i was a kid. I saw just bugs and mickey and just cool. Never really thinking much about it. As an adult..... this is just an awesome epic moment.

Something about the way Mickey said "You could get killed" made me laugh-I think because Mickey usually doesn't talk about death, about the fact that he laughed and said it in his falsetto voice made me laugh!
Report spam or abuse
I fucking love mickey's reaction 'haha, yeah, you could get killed, haha' XD

This is a freaking rare scene in the history of animation,(as in Mickey and Bugs in the same scene). Why does this only have 130,000 views?

The amount of motion picture and toon epicness in this picture is just... No... No words can describe this...
Report spam or abuse
"Yeah. You could get killed...ha-ha..."

The real reason is that they couldn't the rights to Tom and Jerry. I mean, it's a miracle the got the right to so many of these toons, from wildly different studios.

Yeah that's not gonna happen, after Nintendo framed Mario/Luigi for too much money. So Disney went to Sega instead. Which explains the reason why Sonic is in the movie.

I heard that Sonic shows up and tells the main character that if he dies in another game he will die permanently and wont get any extra lifes.

(Comment 2) This Scripture got me thinking... this was centuries before modern man even had the science or technology to go up into space and find that out for ourselves... how on earth would mortal man be able to know this by himself? He had not seen the earth from space before. So just something I wanted to share with you. But I know this is a cartoon clip from Roger Rabbit, not an area for debate. :) Hope you a good rest of the day.

While i think this movie is great especially for not "F"ing up the characters, the personality of mickey and bugs don't together so much that you just go "-.-". though this is still one of the most iconic moments ever in cartoon history
