Mister Rogers Remixed | Garden of Your Mind | PBS Digital Studios

by PBS Digital Studios • 10,568,395 views

Mister Rogers remixed by John D. Boswell for PBS Digital Studios. Please support your local PBS station: MP3 version now available!

According to Fox news Mr. Rogers was evil. What a bunch of idiots.
+VisionXray23 and those commandments WERE not christian born...I thought you knew more than me ?!?
+Lance Vance Yes I hate things and you hate things. Your supposed God and Jesus hated things too. I guess that makes them murderers too. I hate irrational human behavior.
Seriously, 1,329 people dislike this video? What is there to dislike about it? get a life! This man was a saint.
Please tell me you aren't being serious right now...
+milesthumbsprower I was waiting for someone to ask that.
Mister Rogers was a comforting presence to me in my lonely, latch-key childhood. His reassuring tone and his affirming messages helped me battle crushing depression caused by the abuse I was enduring. Although I am an atheist, Fred Rogers will remain in my mind as the pinnacle of what a Christian should be. Non-judgemental, supportive, and nurturing. Oh Fred. We need you now more than we ever did.
+dtjwho2000 No. He's saying that religious people put aside their critical thinking skills to swallow stories that would otherwise be dismissed as make-believe simply because those stories are found in the religious text of their choice.
Fred Rodgers was a Good man. In this world we live in people want to try and make him into something we wasn't. He did more then most in this life to help children and adults become better people. He had the courage to be himself and try and help the world. A MUCH BETTER ROLE MODEL THEN WHAT WE HAVE TODAY.
I wanna be like Fred Rogers some day
I think we ALL want to reach that level.
Just think that every person that you see is somewhat different from every other person in the world! Awesome :)
you caught onto this like me. my brain went into wow mode too

As many times as I've watched this, I can't get it out of my head.  I find myself whistling this all the time.  I remember all of the episode's shown in this video and my child hood is flashed back every time I watch this.  Someone at the studio took the time to splice this and sync it with autotune...  At first, I thought it was some joke..  Now, Freaking awesome.
This actually wasn't the studio's work, they hired +melodysheep to do this, who is well known for his 'Symphony of Science' videos. it was a great move on their part.
There are so many things to learn about in this world.
Why is acid illegal again?

I am resharing my own post from two years ago because this is still awesome and worth watching again.
Mad props to PBS Digital Studios. They're making lots of cool stuff and host two of my favorite YouTube channels.
fun fact: Mr. Roger's middle name was McFeely :)
its interesting and amazing that this man, even as he grew older and the world around him changed drastically from when he started, he remained the same man he was when  he began.
Grew up as this man changed his shoes, opened my world. 2 decades later I've rediscovering this innocent man again . He enlightened children's homes, made them a place of endless discovery & chance to imagine their way into & out of any situation. He brought sign language, music, art, wonder . . Where did that sense of wonder go, bewilderment? Now i move to my own beat. Thanks Mr Rogers
The Montage was made out of respect, The Man was hired by PBS. Whether you like him or not, he did a damn good job, There have been so many parodies making fum of him it would not be surprising to hear that they base their opinion on the parody not ever seeing the show.
Every once in a while, when the bad things of the world start to be too much, I look this up. Oh Mr. R. we miss you so much.
This song made the homeboys in the hood stop & say "look dog went viral this song is super bad!"huhuhuhuuu
Read in a Jonathan Kozol book, educational writer, that him and Fred Rogers were visitng a school in one of the most toughest and dangerous hoods. As they got off the bus everyone, homies too, recognized Mr. Rogers. Waving and shouting greetings to Mr. Rogers. He was the real deal.
+Fred Torres Even the hood respected him? Mr. Rogers was a BOSS. And a NICE boss! :)
Amazing Job! Loved Mr. Rogers, and Mr Wizard growing up.

What's growing in the Garden of Your Mind ???
This is so comforting to me :)  Plus, it was the summertime when I first heard this, so hearing it makes me feel like it's July which is both the best and the worst feeling (because summer feels years away)!!
I was searching for "fart sound auto-tune remix to techno music" and somehow ended up here. I've watched whole video and had mental breakdown over my poor choices in life. Every single porn video I have ever watched, every gore video, every hateful comment I've ever typed, every moment I thought "fuck it, I'm too lazy to study. I'll make a cheetsheet", flashed before my eyes. I have poisoned garden of my mind. I've failed you Mr. Rogers and I'm too ashamed to look you straight in the eyes.
Know that place; too many hide this shame behind a hard careless pose. Look again. Look up. A baby was born, a Savior, so that we can be reborn with Him. Look up again :) 4 u
That pain - that's how you start turning it around. The pain you felt is a gift - Mr. Rodger's gift to you. Use it to cut the weeds, replant the garden, and, yes, you'll grow.
I can seriously jam out to this song
Loved this. Ppl nowadays are heartless. Maybe if our children had icons like instead of idiotic idols like: gumball-two brothers who give their parents hell and their poor principal too,the dad is a fat lazy bunny.

I can't help but think that Mr. Rogers would have liked this very much. Something about it still brings tears to my eyes. It's like it is a dedication to him. He really ministered to children to believe in themselves; to not be afraid to get in touch with their feelings, and to explore and use their unique gifts. May God richly bless Mr. Rogers and his family.
Wow years and years ... I love this message ... And ty Mr.Rodgers

Listen to this remix, excellent!!!!!
This makes me sad and happy all at the same time... growing old is rough, but im glad I had stuff like Mr rogers when I was a kid, and now I have a son, im really sad that he will never get his daily dose of mr rogers like I did, I learned so much from this show.
This actually made me cry. I can't believe he's gone...
Didn't order any whistles. Best whistle solo ever.
Rite in the feels 😭
This is cool! OMg love it. Great job! RIP Mr. Rogers
Mr Rogers was probably the most important teacher I had when I was a little boy. He taught me so many things
This is the best thing of 2015 10/10 would hear again.
So this is what PBS does these days - since they no longer produce thought provokin programming - they have to cull archives and use autotune to a catchy beat.  Fun and novel. Hip.   Too bad Mr Rogers was the most boring and slow host ever on tv..did I mention creepy?
+spock_elvis Why? People seem to be affronted at the possibility that a genuine nice person could ever exist without some ulterior motive. But Mr. Rogers was just that nice. He loved everyone and in the end, once you knew him emotionally, you loved him as well, because was just an honest, something this world needs more of.
Still haven't said where you are from. I guess all these people got your psuedo intellectual ass scared.
Cmon guys, no need to argue over the fact that people disliked the video. Didn't you hear Mr. Rogers in the song? Every person you see is different. Some can do some things, some can do others. We all can make different choices right? Have different opinions?
Who needs Taylor Swift after growing some Mr R. in the garden of your cardigan sweaters....miss you
i loved mr. rodgers and i love this :) very peaceful  inspirational
I think this is great. Such a good message from a good guy. :)
The PBS Digital sound is the piano in the beginning of  Mr. Rogers backwards!!
Mr.Rogers is a awsome person!!
I saw this on PBS last night and had to see if it was on youtube!!! Mr. Rogers loved kids and he taught us that generosity, caring and giving was a way of life. He was the only adult telling us that imagination was a good thing and it was ok to be a kid!
God mr Rogers is a fucking creep
Every time I watch this I get a little misty.  Just perfect.  Thank you, Mister Rogers, for having existed on this world and giving us faith in humanity and ourselves.
1384 people ordered whistles
Tear rolls down my eye.
Fantastic! A great man and war hero!
Be what Mr. Rogers knew you could be.
I am not the least bit ashamed to admit that I wept when Mr. Rogers died--I was 32.

Garden of your mind! Dig it.
I love it Thats all i can say
Mr. Rogers Just dropped his mix tape and its hot.
Mr.Rogers [1969-1995] [Color]
I'm like half the views on this video.
The slide whistle solo was the best thing ever.
He was so wonderful to watch as a youngster. Amazing man...
I figured it out....almost 1,400 people didn't like the color of his sweater......that's all I can come up with....I dunno...I don't get it...Mr. Rogers was awesome....God help us all!
Aww yeah that slide whistle solo is so bitchin
Just a fucking old man saying random shit .
This man was truly a little nuts.
If making children feel they are special and that they can be loved for being themselves is nuts, then the world need more of them.

Mister Rogers Remixed | Garden of Your Mind | PBS Digital Studios: Did you ever...?
Autotune is the the best thing ever.
This video blew my fucking mind!!! I love this trippy old man :)
Lets give the fish some food. Mr. Mcfeely, I didn't order any whistles.
A VERY enjoyable video and song.  Thanks!
Lol. My sister is scared of this video. She's 16 😂
Loved it.... The nostalgia.....
Could you imagine....if Bob Ross or Mr. Rodgers ever did an apperance on each others shows?  Wars would stop. Cancer would cure itself. Alien life would make public contact with us seeking to share the secrets of unlocking our own Psionic power. Dogs and Cats, living together..yet zero hysteria.
+Patrick Briotte You grew /that/ thought in the garden of your mind for a good long while.
+Michael Westmoreland It would be so peaceful too! Just this atmosphere of calm and happiness that's just...almost inescapable you know? But you could grow that in the garden of your mind as well, my friend. :)

Your mind is like a garden: Whatever you plant will grow. Your thoughts are seeds you're planting: They produce, each after its kind. And you, just like a gardener, Can choose which seeds you'll plant. And by the choice of seeds you sow, You choose the harvest you will reap. So don't plant seeds of lack or fear, Disease, discord, or doubt. Plant, instead, the seeds you want; Then things you want will sprout. This gift of choice is given to all, And not to just a few. The harvest, friend, is in your hands: The crop depends on you. So take this power which you've been given, And use it every day, To gain from life the good you want, For you have found the way.

Still love this grandson does a great "in the garden of your mind" impression!
i notice all the people that like mr rogers are people id want my children to be around, while the ones with negative comments are uneducated, ignorant and stupid. they were the generation that missed what we were lucky to have.... mind power. no one teaches children how to think they show kids how they should think. these past 20 years have shown that with all the new technology to keep us and our children busy.... the problem is no one thinks anymore.
My dad was always at home but this a quote from my friend "My dad was never home. If he was home he was sleeping or drunk he never beat me or anything but was never really there in a way Mr rogers was my dad he taught me how to deal with people and things"
Talks about stupidity, forgets to use grammar to sound educated.

I always loved him, everyday as a child I would watch him. I would say I hope one day someone can love me like he can, for me, for who I am. It doesn't seem like it's going to happen.  I can imagine but it isn't real!
This is awesome my daughter loves this video.
