Marty, I think you're a great teacher. Also, there seems to be a theme with guitar teachers that you have gone completely against, and thank god. Thank you for not wearing really tight jeans and subjecting everyone to your moose knuckle! Thanks again.

so its B major scale for B7 and B minor over E and F#, rite? yes I'm newbie.
you can do either minor or major on the 5th chord. in this case the 5th chord is the f#.  but that is "rite"

Thanks for your help. This has been so helpful please keep it coming.
Hi. Getting your music noticed is hard! Learning the guitar from videos like this was challening but what is harder is getting people to hear my music. Visit my channel and take a look at my instrumental music. I will return the favour if you ask :)
Научим играть так же! Звони: 8 800 100 9096
it's too fast bro, you want to teach us or just want to show?
ever heard from slowing down replay...or anything like this.... if you want to learn, you should be able to stop and start the replay for example. How would you like it,,,,?  Blues has something to do with feeling and some things you cannot play slower (he is doing his best to do it step by step  ) If you do not get this...maybe you should learn another instrument. I think its very usefull what he is doing and I like it
Fantastic! What else can be said?

Thanks a lot Marty this really helped! this is the first lesson of yours I watched, now i have subscribed and I'm still learning. Best YouTube Teacher EVER!!!
19TH FRET MARTY! he jumped. i saw it
WTF is with you... His DVD's are awesome, they helped me and everybody else very much and you can get a lot more there than on youtube. It's good enough that Marty teaches this but giving all his knowledge for free??? No way man, how does a guitar player make a living. He is not Van halen so he can put up a massive preformance that will host 100k people... He found another way to earn money.
has anyone actually got the ebook cause i did...
You are great¡¡ Very nice lessons
and if you get the right timing on pressing 2, he'll say "orc" all the time.
215 people are messed up. This vid is awesome and so is B.B. King.
great concise lesson. i learned something
Como ver as "lessons" em português ou espanhol???
hay marty can you plz do the regulator by clutch PPPPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I've been playing for a year without any music or tabs. Just Marty and my ear
Nineteenth fret Marty!! Haha if that wasn't David Taub then I'll be a monkeys uncle
Sorry for my English... The problem [for me]is how to hit strings, Not how to move fingers...you know... You always show how to move fingers on the chords but hardly to see when you hit the strings to make sound....there are 6 strings but which one that i should hitttt T____T
Many thanks for your vids Marty! Extremely helpful!
Thanks Marty for the Ebook on how to play the Blues, Jim..........
Been playing and studying theory on my own for 8 months and these videos are an invaluable resource that really help me connect the dots. Thanks
let me go change my pants then i will subscribe...
This was in year 2008, he is still in guitarjamz now, first look, then judge, idiot!
I've been playing for 15 months, do you think I can do it? I've never tryed it, so i need some advice on where to start xD
How many accounts and websites does marty have and support xD O_O that was a stupid question dont answer that it was retorical
I see these comments on most guitar lesson video's.I wonder if this is actually true because it never happens to me :(
look for "blues backing track" here on youtube, there's plenty!
Ha Funny! Press 123 then 321 repeatedly!
god damn it, i've been looking for such lesson for too long... considering that i'm learning by myself, i should got that... long ago... long ago...
I cant see the jam tracks :/ how can i find them?
Excellent lesson Marty. Keep it up broda.
Ooooor you could just search for "jam tracks" on youtube and not be forced to subscribe to them after being shouted at...
hey can you use these chord shapes up and down the neck? like A7 and such just all 2 frets down?
...he definitely almost said balls. 01:05...
Find a scale, any key works. And then put on a backing-track in the same key and improvise!
@skaterunknown4ever yes he has a new vid al least every outhe day ps: he has a few chanels. like um this 1, martysongs, guitarjamz, youcanlearnguitarto, and there migh be 1 more also cause i told u this can u look at my chanel and sub plzzzzzzz
@JJSOKEWL he started on this channel and then got in a fight over payment and made his own
Hi, i've just started playing blues and I could use someone else's experience to help me out. So like I said I just started playing blues ( i've got a bit of experience in other genres but nothing really impressive) and I don't really know where to start. I know Marty got some great lessons, but with wich one should I start? What should I learn first? I only now the really really basic blues rythme and my minor pentatonics. Could someone give me some advice where to start? thank you :)
How much is a electric acoustic guitar
BB king didn't have tabs. He had soul!
Hey bro, I have also only recently got into blues (3-4 months now), and I love playing it, and soloing and shit like that, and the way i started was simply learning the minor pentatonics, and some other scales, then sort of learning some nice blues songs (start off slowly), and then I just kind of started practicing with some nice slow backing tracks, and from there, you just kind of get into it, and eventually it will just kind of slip into your hands. Hope it helped bro, keep playing :)
@lakanasopajan1989 When he shows the chord, forexample he shows E maj 7 add9 chord X76777, the X stands for the string you do NOT play. The rest you do play, what he is doing in this video, is strumming, but he mutes the strings with his palm afterwards in a single motion. E.g, he strums down, and then uses the meat of his hand, to mute the strings afterwards, creating a precussive typical blues feel/atmosphere. hope this helped a little, if you want more info, please pm me.
this came on during a playlist, i had no idea what it was but i was just feeling that jam
sincere thanks for you vids marty, have helped me a lot, especially getting away from usual blues scale. the bb king major stuff and the 251 harmonic minor lesson have freed my mind. my ass is following with a smile on his face. yes baby its true
how the fuck did this video get sooooooooooooooo many views dont people no how to play????????
@lonewolf1234512345 Hey Marty, thanks for that mate...
9:08 He brings heaven to earth.
wait...next level? damn, I'm already disqualified...
@StreetAcademy100 I know your comments old but i knew he looked like somebody! Thats who it is :D
Hey man, don't learn by tabs. Learn by ear - that'll get you further. :)
aghhh, ive been trying to learn blues soloing forever, i keep looking for jam tracks but they all say stuff like play dorian or its in the k of G or b7 and stuff like that, but i dont know it. any help? :/
