Is it lemon that makes it a bit thicker ? Mine came out a bit more runny . I didnt add lemon . I added a bit of honey . Ill leave it for 6 hrs like u said to rest and hopefully it all comes together .
Report spam or abuse
Yes lemon thickens it

My cheesecake mix turned out kind of runny. I followed your recipe. Any idea what's wrong?

Thanks heaps +OnePotChefShow for this! You have walked me through how to make my FIRST two cheesecakes ever! First I tried the Nutella one you made and it tasted amazing and was really successful with the family and now I'm doing this one, except Raspberries because Strawberries are going out of season here in NZ and I can't find them in the supermarket. I tasted the filling so I think it's going to be amazing! Setting fast too! Thanks again :)

How many strawberries you used plz answer cuz I am going to do it tonight for a party
Report spam or abuse
The condensed milk adds sweetness and helps bind the cheesecake mixture ;)

Hi. I used blueberries instead of strawberries. Now my cheesecake won't set. It's been chilling for 10hours. How do I fix this? :(

my mother loves cheesecake but where can i purchase a spring form pan?
Report spam or abuse
You should make a Banana Cheesecake.
Report spam or abuse
I recommend keeping the cheesecake chilled until you are ready to serve, then return any left overs to the fridge as soon as possible ;)
Report spam or abuse
What is the size of your spring form pan?
Report spam or abuse
I love that at the end of your recipes, you take a bite of the deliciousness you made. And I also hate it and want to eat it too D: Haha, love your videos! Today I made your mom's lemon pie :) it was delicious thank you and her, may she rest in peace. Greeting s from Mexico!

Hi i made your strawberry cheesecake last night and it turned out great, but today when i went to cut a slice filling was soft and more like mousse! what did i do wrong? :'(

Hi chef, just needin to make sure that i can use bottled lemon juice this time?,, bcuz i know with the lemon cheesecake recipe that u told us to make sure that we use real lemons for our lemon juice. Ty & God bless U.

your recipes are easy and good but I tried this cake and the result does not taste like cheese cake but like cake base with flavored yogurt on it.:(

Use raspberries instead of strawberries. As for the liqueur, don't add it to the cheesecake. Instead, combine raspberries and the liqueur in a blender to make a sauce to drizzle over the cheesecake ;)
Report spam or abuse
This cake serves 8-10 people, so it's not that much condensed milk. If you reduce the quantity, the cake won't set properly ;)
Report spam or abuse
If i were to change this to a mango cheesecake by just changing the strawberries to mango,is that alright ?
Report spam or abuse
I would love to make this, but use raspberries. I also have raspberry liqueur, would I be able to add a liqueur to this or would it make it runny?
Report spam or abuse
Hi Chef, i just made this. I've put it in the fridge to set. I'm exited to taste it tomorrow. Thank you for the recipe, greets from the Netherlands.

thanx for sharing that delicious recipe, i loved it! Pola from Mexico!

lol 3:40 lets have a slice, lets have a taste

You can cover it with plastic wrap if you wish, but it isn't essential. It will set with or without covering ;)

It was 1730cal per cake ( I made two. One strawberry, one lemon). The point was that I was making it for one household but it would be too much for one flat, so the logical thing to do would be to take them to the party the following night. The party coincided with St Patrick's day and was in session from 2pm till 2am the next day. Nobody would give a damn that the delicious cheesecakes already had three slices cut out.

I always do it with my hand. It's the same thing, except to get the consistency of the mixer, your hand would be very, very sore afterwards. It still taste the same though. And with the oreos, I wouldn't suggest putting lemon juice if you're making oreo cheesecake. But I've made oreo cheesecake and it taste AWESOME!!!!

could i substitute condensed milk for double cream?
Report spam or abuse
I love your recipes, I know what I'm making on Sunday now, tee hee

at least it could be of help to someone.as you can see from one of my comments, mine was a disaster.i think i need to give up on the lemon and switch to gelatin,i was ridiculed too much for using lemon

Actually, a trick my mom does with any kind of graham cracker (biscuit) crust when she uses a regular pie dish instead of a springform is she gets either a large cake pan that the pie dish will fit in or plug up the sink and fill it with enough hot water to go 1/2 to 3/4 up the sides, and lets it rest for around 20 seconds. This will melt the butter on the very edges of the crust just enough to help it lift out. :D

This no bake cheesecake is naturally a little softer than a baked cheesecake, but it will hold it's shape. You can add gelatin to the mixture if you wish, but I find it alters the texture and makes it the cheesecake more like a jelly. Personally, I think the smooth, softer texture is nicer ;)
Report spam or abuse
Did you return the unused portion of the cheesecake to the fridge after serving? It should be noted this is a very soft cheesecake. Mousse-like, but it holds it's shape if kept chilled ;)
Report spam or abuse
I wish you could be my personal chef! =D

i love ur recipe, but can i reduce the amount of that condense milk coz im afraid its going to be too sweet.
Report spam or abuse
Report spam or abuse
It's best to use lemon juice from lemons. All lemons are sour, but the sweetness of the condensed milk will take away the sourness ;)
Report spam or abuse
It's a springform cake tine - the bottom and sides come off ;)
Report spam or abuse
Yes, you can leave the strawberries out and Yes, you can use salted butter ;)

Does that Kenwood Stand Mixer have planetary action? Oh, I am envious! You never have to stop mixing, and scrape down the bowl, like with a KitchenAid, do you?
Report spam or abuse
can i use bottled lemon juice.it says from concentrate but my mam wont believe it needs fresh and wont buy me lemons>:( please tell me it will work.i want to make it for fathers day in 2 days

can i use lemon sueeze from the bottle or do i have to use freshly squeezed lemon juice

Generally, you would add the passion fruit pulp and the seeds. The seeds are optional, but most people add them in ;)

If you are using a 13 x 9 pan (I'm assuming you mean inches) you shouldn't need to double the ingredients ;)
