See Boot Camp 'up close and personal' from the tent sites in the Florida jungle through the Obstacle course, classes and finally to energetic rallies under the Big Top. Nearly 30 teams are training...

I think John Yoo is exaggerating. Bootcamp is NOT that bad. It's hard, yes, but really not that bad. The water does NOT have sulfur in it. And it's definitely not cold! :) The weather - it does rain a bit, but then you get to have running water! The water "runs" off the edge of the Big Top (the huge tent where Rally is held) and it's easy to wash your hair then! :) It's all in your attitude and perspective. I love Bootcamp. It changed my life infinitely for the better.

But all in all it was rewarding helping the people of Nepal. I lost like 30 pounds after this mission.

I went to Nepal in 99 with TMI. I took a bus from LAX and went to Florida with other volunteers. You go through boot camp for 2 weeks and go on your mission for 2 months. I remember the weather conditions during bootcamp was brutal. It was pretty tough I gotta admit. At the bootcamp there is no running water and you bathe with a bucket in sulfur water and ice cold water. If you don't follow directions, you get awarded with a special blessing which consists of more labor.
