I'm trying to find a way to contact you to see if I can use this video for something I can't disclose in public. I hope you somehow see this comment :)

23 Nin Haunted (D) .. [..] 5 !1 No Friends - .. [..]
its kinda weird to think about but if a person were to make a game like that like an indie game i think they wouldhave made a bit more money
It came with TWO controllers... good guy Nintendo.... :'(
That kid is a bad ass

The gun was not accurate one bit.
The trick is to aim the little piece at the top of the barrel right under whatever you want to shoot, like ducks or whatever.

What did the robot do?
In Gyromite, you could have it open and close pistons blocking your way, using the second controller and attachments it needed to press the buttons.  In Stack-Up, it was used for different puzzle games using a completely different set.
R.O.B wasn't used very much in games but he helped to sell the system because it was a toy that you got with the system when video games were so low in demand Nintendo decided to say it's a toy that you get a console with

I had R.O.B. but he then broke in to pieces.
In the UK, 1982 the Sinclair Spectrum was launched, which changed our lives forever, because anyone could program it :-) The inspiration for the #pi

Wow, never even heard of Rob the Robot accessory for the NES. 😅
I miss the sound the zapper made when you pulled the trigger and you had that sound that the spring made inside, hard to describe lol.

The Zapper was one of the greatest gaming accessories of all time.
It made you feel really badass. I used to shoot ducks with my back turned to the TV, bent over backwards, even with my eyes closed, one time.

Classic Game System..NES Kicked Of Xbox And All Other Consoles...Nintendo is classic
Best system of all time!! The 80's were awesome I remember this like t was yesterday lol. Going to a friend house and playing the NES all night especially on the weekends. How I miss those days :-(
The NES may have been good, but ROB the Robot sucked big time.
I remember when I received my Nes for christmas I was like OMG THE GRAPHICS!! Wow this so kick ass, WAY BETTER THAN ATARI!
i just found my bro's old NES in the garage ^^ now to buy games for it...
why cant they make UNES (Ultimate Nintendo Entertainment System) instead of making Wii U.
I still own and play my original NES... mario bros ftw...
Stack up or Gyromite? I have a 5 screw gyromite, but it didnt have a converter. I know stack up does, but I dont have it. What game do you want to play?
To be fair, the sole reason R.O.B was even made was to serve as a trojan horse. Since the North American market was extremely hostile to the idea of a home gaming console due to the 1983 crash, Nintendo made R.O.B: so they could advertise the system as a toy. Once the NES broke the proverbial ice and became a phenomenon, R.O.B was no longer necessary, so there was no reason to make more games compatible with him. People didn't really care, anyway.
Yeah. What do you get now? A controller, and a game if you're lucky.
Will YOU be the one to play with Rob?
The extraordinary videorobotbatteriesnotincludedhe helps you blabla.... :)
0:13 That kid grew up to be a Cop
Play with ROB, the extraordinary video robot Batteries not included!
0:13 incredibly accurate my ass!
Back when game systems came with things. *Sigh* Good times.
lol "batteries not included" video
He isn't it was just a marketing plot to make people think the nes was a toy so it would sell well
im going to buy it . crap thay dont sell it
This was the console that saved the video game industry during the crash of 1983.
I never knew rob existed. I must have.
System, 2 games, a robot, a light gun, and two controllers. All for what I'm assuming was 199$. Wow.
I always thought Duck Hunt was the only game that was compatible with the NES gun. And I think reading these comments made my IQ drop a few points. Talk about grammar fail. "NES ROCK for its time!!" NES totally rock! It rock all day long!
Accurate, you say? *Plays Duck Hunt* "FLY AWAY" Nope.avi
Well, if it wasn't for ROB, the people would've still considered not getting a NES back them. With ROB, it shown that the system was different and new compared to what Atari, and the other companies have created.
Incredibly accurate. That's a load of barnacllllllllles
im 14 and im actually a retro gamer i played a shit ton of nes games like contra and ducktales and megaman 2 :D
Let me tell you bout back in my day
I LOOOOVVVE MY NES!! One of the best gaming consoles EVERRR!!!!!
Every console has good games. Even the PS3 which made terrible choices like hard to master hardware and the 500$ price tag. Still. Good system the NES.
@MetalFanx2000 Most of them do.
Well that is true. But he was only made for TWO games before he was scrapped! And it wasn't very good at those 2 games.
These were not even close to the first games ever made. That was in the 70s.
Narrator: Will you be the first to control the robot batteries not included? LOL
Ever tried to use a ROB? I got one that works 'perfectly', and I want to drop it.
Rest in peace Hiroshi Yamauchi your work will live on with the gamers of 1985 to 2006
I think he's talking about how the NES came with 2 controllers, 2 games, and the control deck.
