i wish i have the same will power...........

+lee soon wyne The first step to obtaining that willpower is to stop telling yourself you can't. The rest comes as you go. I'm going to quote "We bought a Zoo" here. 20 seconds of courage is all it takes. 20 seconds to make the choice you want, not the one you think won't fail. You would be surprised how far that mentality can take you.

I'm currently 240 pounds.. I diet, (heavy) lift daily, run as much as my skinny friends, but I barely make any progress. I barely eat, I workout pretty much every minute I have free time, but I am making very slow progress. Any tips?
Report spam or abuse
I agree with Pharis_52. Try to eat more fruits and veggies too (For example the Juice fast that has been getting popular) With the juice fast I would suggest the Mean green juice http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/mean-green-juice/ -Recipe. Just eat healthy, normal meals after a 10-30 day reboot with just juice. Remember to add a little bit of protein powder after the 5 day mark so you can start exercising normally If you would like to know a bit more about the stuff watch fat, sick, and nearly dead (It's on netflix) and maybe some videos other people have posted with their fasts

wow, well done

Sucks though when people look at your old pictures and it's like they still see you as fat.

There's eating for nutrition and eating for entertainment. Maintaining health and body weight are just a matter of eating responsibly . These days there is no excuse for being a porker . With the internet good information is there to be had by all.

Did anyone else notice the last pic of the fat kid had a tattoo on his right shoulder and the skinny new kid has no tattoos hmmmm
Report spam or abuse
Good for you! No playing the victom, no blaming your genes/metabalism. You took the responsibility on yourself to get fit and got on with it. Many people could take a lesson from this.
Report spam or abuse
I'm well proud of you bro... GREAT EFFORT. well done!!!!
Report spam or abuse
Good job!  Inspirational. anyone can achieve the body they want if they just WORK at it.

Should've stayed fat, you looked better, lol. I've seen better transformations. Me for instance. I went from 15 and weighing in at 195 lbs with a BMI of like 52% to being 16 and half and weighing 209lbs with only 14% BMI. I lost all that weight and went down to 145lbs, bulked up to 220lbs and then leaned out.

I finished college and starting living on my own. Ate nothing but ramen and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and drank nothing but water for... i'm gonna say 3 months. Lost 25 pounds. Being broke is my diet...
Report spam or abuse
How long did it take you?
Report spam or abuse
You know it said 9 months, but I seriously doubt that.

I'm about 250 or 260 5'10 but I don't look as big as he did when he started. But any way my plan is to be 180 or 190 in 6 months. I've dropped from 230 to 190 but then I got pulled out of school pulled out of sports so now a year almost 2 years later it is time for me to start exercising.

Don't worry about the extra skin... give it time, it takes care of itself, it's just kind of the last thing to make the adjustment.
Report spam or abuse
tell me  how much money it take ... how much support from others ???  so dont tell stuff like SO CAN YOU .

Saw your video on Facebook. Thanks for the inspiration. Gotta start somewhere

Great job sugar. You look wonderful and should be very proud. I never had a weight problem (well, maybe now I could loose 10 lbs and be a little happier  :) but I did have bucked teeth that were spaced and gapped, an overbite where my jaw had to be pulled forward over the course of a year, poor vision, thick glasses, cystic acne and a flat chest. I know what it feels like to have people be mean and laugh at you. My dad fixed my teeth, and I fixed the rest. I do think what we went through will make us better people: kinder, more sensitive to people's feelings, not as quick to judge others. Keep up the good work, remember where you came from, and make it a habit to go out of your way to be kind to people. A small compliment can make anyone's day. Nothing big, just a quick remark liking the shirt they have on, noticing the color of their eyes, a pair of earrings, or how nice and friendly they are! Too many people go through the entire day without one person saying something genuinely nice to them.  Take care! Mitty

You must have done lots of cardio also! Would be nice to know more how you did it. How must less food? Days per week of training? Your gym schedule etc. Thanks! And good job! :)

How much less food? *
Report spam or abuse
lol whose hand is that at 1:46
Report spam or abuse
man, congrats on your weight loss, but i think it's silly to call this 'massive to muscular'. while you were clinically obese, you were by no means massive. i appreciate the attempt to motivate, but you essentially turned fat into muscle under optimal conditions - a relatively low start weight, at a very young age. i hope that you appreciate that however hard you worked, other peoples' weight loss journeys dwarf your own. regardless, i'm happy you were able to get motivated so early in your life to improve yourself!

OHMYJESUS Lol I'm 13 yrs old 5ft 9in and weigh like 202 pounds this.... this makes me sad.... although i lost about 2 or 3 pounds without kinda realizing it though....
Report spam or abuse
when I was 13 I was 6'1" 250 lbs, I ran every day and ate less, and I lost 50 lbs in about 4 months.  It was worth it, but I lost weight the wrong way.  Instead of changing my diet, I ate the same stuff but less of it.  What I should have done instead was increased my protein while cutting out simple carbohydrates like cookies, white bread, etc. My blood pressure also got so low from losing it quickly that I had to see a cardiologist, so in hindsight I would have lost weight at a slower pace.

lol obviously steroids were used

I hate to be the downer here but you aren't really teaching anyone anything new here. Everyone already knows that all you need is motivation the hard part is actually having any. Seriously I lay in bed telling myself how I am going to wake up tomorrow and go for a walk or do ANYTHING healthy but it simply never works out that way.

Nice job!  I lost 30 lbs. in high school and never went back.  It's amazing how the skin retracts in cases like yours.  If you really want to get lean, try running, it takes off fat quicker than a knife --

The breasts had surgery it is still commendable nonetheless but you should have mentioned the gyno surgery
Report spam or abuse
You are awesome dude; I once lost over 45lbs of fat in 6 months (2005-6) but I lost muscle along the way; my gym was crap in that we had no Olympic bars or squat rack so it took until 2010 to realise i'll never add muscle without a barbell. Anyway, every summer since 2010 I did 3 months of bulking  (except in 2013 when I was studying and did martial arts) and in 2013-14 I did it for about 8 months. Problem is the majority of the year I only have time for martial arts so I can never keep gains because I don't diet/ don't bother dieting because I don't sleep well when I was at college
