  • SOUND DESIGN FOR VIDEOGAMES 1 - Sample transformation and General workflow.

    -READ THE DESCRIPTION TO GET AN IDEA OF WHAT THIS IS ABOUT-

    I've just started this series of live-like videos about how do I work for
    videogame's sound design.

    In this first episode you will see mostly sample transformation, workflow into FL Studio, and little tricks and techniques I use every now and then.

    Take it as a tutorial if you want, but there is no voice comment, no indicative overlays yet (text / key presses), just me working on FL Studio for some menu sounds, I even think they are too -happy- for the game's ambientation, but speaking of audio and music, nothing is in vain, everything is a good practice as long as you do something.

    Will be making ambience, dark sounds, audio design for "cinematics" (time-based, with the video player plugin) and all this kind of stuff on future episodes. Stay in tune.

    Oh, and will add a nice mouse+keypress overlay, I think you'll need this if I'm not making voice/text explanations.
