I am a theremin-synthesist, composer/producer; writing, recording, and project managing in my own studio.
My formal qualifications focused on interactive technology in performance, which led me initially to work in the multimedia industry. I was heavily involved in international Marketing, project managing all areas of PR and product design/launches. The chance to take more control came when I spearheaded the business and development of a series of CD games. I then founded and directed a music+tech show design company, before leaping on stage as an indie artist, putting all that business experience to good use.
So I had plenty to write about when I joined my journalist friends, as well as happy to share my knowledge as a Visiting Professor. I'm a jack of all trades, and loving it!
My youtube channel, Oceanachine, was named after my ethnic background; I'm Australian born to Singapore parents. This channel is a place for my music videos, interviews with people I've met in the entertainment industry, and gadgets that have piqued my fancy. A recent addition is the VBlog series.
I am always happy to hear from anyone wishing to collaborate, book me or consult with me on a project/commission.
Thanks for dropping by. If you have a question, please leave it a comment and I will respond ASAP. Come back soon!
