I click the screen to add goombers and I can shoot fireballs by tapping x or using the right analog stick (each work a little bit differently)
The goombers have some boring ai which basically says "if you feel like it, adjust your movement a bit, slightly)
The goombers are checking collisions with the walls and enemies (goombers) this basically prevents them from getting stuck in anything too easily.
It's cool how goombers can stack on goombers and its not that buggy. If a goomber falls on top of your head, or you run into a goomber, it kills you. (and this all works pretty decently)
You'd really be surprised how long it takes to get these simple features in without bugs, and how tricky the code is already.
I'm almost at the point where I need to worry about entity architecture in relation to the room, player. I also need to generate cool guy levels.
Oh and both Larry and the Goomber's animations are based on actual entity speed which looks kinda fancy imo.
