    Hi ladies!

Welcome back to Broke Girl Rehab, the channel where we talk about getting rid of debt and building wealth so we can live well. The month of May is now over which means it’s time for me to do a final budget check and show you all where I’m at with respect to my net worth.

A few points before I get started:
Point #1: I’m not sharing my net worth with you all so that I can brag. Even if I wanted to brag, I really couldn’t because I’m still in debt. But, if I’m going to be sharing lessons about money and personal finance, I figure the best thing is to be as transparent as possible so you can see my mistakes and failures as well as my wins.

Point #2: At some point, it will no longer be appropriate for me to continue to share my net worth with you all. I’m not sure when that is, but at that point I will probably switch to income reports instead.

And, finally, I’m using a budget and net worth tracker that I created using Excel. You’re more than welcome to use the same one, just go to http://www.brokegirlrehab.c..., put in your email address and I’ll send one to you right away.

Oh, and - for those of you who have had trouble using the sheets because they’re on Microsoft Excel, I’ve heard you and I’m currently working on transferring the files to Google Drive so you don’t have to use Microsoft in order to access them. Stay tuned!

As for my May Net Worth, I ended up only increasing it by only $2 because I did pretty poorly with respect to my credit card. I’m not proud of my progress, but - at the same time - I know that it’s hard for me right now because I’m just starting with tracking my budget religiously. I know that, for June, I’m going to do a whole lot better.

Thanks to everyone for following me in the journey and looking forward to showing you even better numbers next month.
