I support a Caliphate but believe it needs to be restored using dialogue & diplomacy not violence.

Our message to the Israeli's is this: We do not fight you because you belong to a certain faith or culture. Jews have lived in the Muslim world for 13 centuries in peace and harmony (most of the time) they are in our religion "the people of the book" who have a covenant from God and his messenger, Muhammad (pbuh), to be respected and protected.

The only thing that is consistent is the Hadiths repeatedly say she was six when they married and nine when the marriage was consumated. Therefore other clues are invalid. 2 - Women in PreIslamic Arabia had more rights then they do in Islam now. You can take Mohammads first wife Khadijah as an example. She owned her own business, made her own contracts, and did not have a male relative escort her around. She also inherited the business from her father. There are plenty of other examples to show of women in PreIslamic Arabia who had more rights than women do know.
