Americas heroes are the men and women who put their lives on the line in the service. The ones who risk the lives of themselves and their buddies liberating a country from one of the latter 20th century's worst killers. They are the ones who show up to establish order and give supplies in the wake of global events such as the tsunami. They are there in Katrina as the 82nd Airborne Division saving people trapped on their houses. They are the ones fighting a regime that robs peoples of education and human rights in both Afghanistan and Iraq. They are the ones standing on the border with North Korea keeping the south safe from that monster.

Those are Americas Heroes. I doubt you made a sliver of that sacrifice when singing your songs, banging your drums, and waving your signs. Shame on you.
