If the solar maximum period starting in 2011 and peaking in 2012 turns out to be as far above the average solar maximum as the period from October 2003 to September 2005 was above the average solar minimum, which NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) said "We Predict the next solar cycle will be 30 to 50 percent stronger then the last" we may indeed be in for a catastrophe Mayan Astronomers have been warning about for the past 1500 years. Oct 2003-Sept 2005 was solar minimum but starting with 2 Jupiter sized sun spots in Oct. 26 exploding over and over into X-class flares climaxing Nov.4 with an X-45. Had these hit earth I would not be writing this down. An X-19 partially hit Canada in 1989, knocking out Hydro-Quebec (even fusing some generators). 2012 is also the next peak of planetary tidal forces (the sum total of the planets' gravitational pull on the sun) also the sun's magnetic poles, which revers every 22 years at the peak of every second cycle is expected to switch in 2012. Earth passing through the Dark Rift / Leviathan / Galactic Center as well as completing a processional wobble 2012. And given the suns wobble due to the solar systems center of mass (the center of the galaxy moves and can be up to one million miles from the sun), added all together with the planetary tidal forces may cause a rip in the sun releasing what is termed "imprisoned radiation". Solar cycle-24 started 2007 six months to a year later then expected, it will be 30 to 50% stronger and it will climax 2012.
