Anchorsong is the solo project by Masaaki Yoshida from Tokyo, Japan.

He creates music with sampler (AKAI MPC2000XL) and keyboard(KORG Triton) right in front of audience. Some people say, "It's like watching a painter drawing on a white canvas."

His 1st EP "The Storytelling EP" was released as a double disc (CD & LIVE DVD) in Japan on 16/05/2007.

After the success of the debut EP, he moved to London in October 2007. Since then he's been playing at many live venues and night clubs.

His 2nd EP "The Bodylanguage EP" comes out on 15th January 2009 (exclusively in Japan.)
It consists of 2 discs.[CD & DVD]
CD side includes underground smash hit "Set The Bears Free".
DVD side consists of his solo performance and the collaboration with string quartet.
