Yo man. I've been using Protien for a while now. I just have to say something because the menu is KILLING ME. Down on my d-pad is already flakey, holding it down doesn't scroll, and the touchpad doesn't select. Come onnnnn. Really? I need to pick my next tracks quick, and since the new stuff is loaded where "newest files fall to the bottom of the list" it literally takes 20-30 seconds to pick a song. By that time, the good point to switch tracks has passed... Also, you seriously have to consider adding a crossfade at the very top of the touchpad or something.

What program do you use to make the songs smaller?

Protein DS is brilliant! Thanks for creating it and bringing it into the world. Would be nice to save recorded samples in later versions but I'm sure that's already been requested. In fact, it would be a welcome addition to the DS, being able to record sound on it as I've not found any homebrew applications that can do this simple action. Well done again, I'm off to practise scratching my girlfriend's laugh - hehe!

My protein works but it doesnt play the samples it just comes on blank do i need to place the samples somewhere specific
