At midnight during the Wednesday of Reading Week, we get twelve suggestions from the audience, write them down on separate sheets of paper, then post them on the wall. Over the course of the show, we do twelve scenes, and at the end of each scene we tear down the suggestion that corresponded to that scene. Enjoy!
We get 12 suggestions from the audience, write them on separate sheets of paper, and tape them to the back wall. After each scene, we take down the suggestion that inspired it.
Here are some videos from our early show during Parent's Weekend 2010. This was the first show for our class of '14 performers Sally Helm and Jesse Schreck!
We are a long form improv group from Yale University that does several shows every semester, both on campus and off. We hold auditions every September. We try to post as many clips from our shows as possible on this channel. Keep in mind, however, that long form improv sets last for far longer than any individual video here- if you watch something and wonder why some nonsensical comment made the audience laugh so much, chances are it is a callback to some other part of the show not included in the clip. As a result, we highly recommend, for maximum enjoyment, watching separate shows chronologically (look at the playlists). Also sometimes we make lame jokes and the lack of humor has nothing to do with long form whatsoever. BE WARNED OF OCCASIONAL STRONG LANGUAGE AND ADULT CONTENT: We are a college group performing for college audiences. Check out our main website at http://www.yale.edu/crayon
