The Chinese people look at you guys like a bunch of monkeys, getting played by actors like the Dalai Lama and the Western media (like that Martin guy from Cambridge University who interrupted Premier Wens speech). Instead of taking anything you guys say seriously now the Chinese people are simply shaking their heads and laughing behind your backs. This doesnt hurt China or its people at all since theyll still go about developing their country in their own way, paving their own path as they have done for decades now and quite marvelously, but it means all these human rights activists have made ignorant fools of themselves. |

For the Chinese people national sovereignty is first and foremost on the priorities list, followed by societal stability. Without stability in the society the country cant grow or develop. Therefore, the more you Free Tibet supporters try to create chaos in China through your protests or riots the more youre slowing down the countrys development. Is it any wonder they completely despise you? These human rights activists are entering a dangerous game with China, though not really dangerous for China or the Chinese people. Theyre taking up causes without fully understanding the situations and informing themselves of the facts behind these causes. This is quickly making them lose credibility in the eyes of the exact people they are trying to claim they speak for. |

The more the Free Tibet side tries to interfere the more unified the Chinese people are going to be in support of their government over this issue. So ironically what all of you Free Tibet supporters are doing is slowing down any chance at political reform China has and any chance of the central government to start loosening their rules and regulations in regards to individual rights and freedoms. If individual rights and freedoms is only going to result in the riots that we saw last March whereby innocent Han and Hui-Chinese were killed because of some extreme Tibet separatists then who in their right mind would be eager to grant them? |

Its true that the Chinese government still has a lot of problems, but then again what countrys government doesnt have a lot of problems? Whatever problems the Chinese government has the Chinese people will find their own ways to solve them. Rights and freedoms cannot be granted all together overnight. The rights and freedoms in Western countries were also not a guarantee; people had to fight for them. The West has had centuries to develop, the PRCs only been established for 60 years and its only been 30 since Deng Xiaopings economic reforms that really pushed China into its first phases of economic development. After a century of foreign invasions and civil conflict national sovereignty is of utmost importance to the Chinese people. |

The Free Tibet supporters, however, only know of their side and cover their ears when the China-side attempts at explaining their side of the story. They dismiss arguments as the Chinese being brainwashed without coming up with any contextual and convincing counter-argument or evidence to prove the Chinese otherwise. Therefore, this cause will never, ever win the support of the Chinese people because the only argument the Free Tibet side can offer is a simple "you're all brainwashed" which isn't going to convince anyone of anything. |

How pathetic. To the Chinese people you are all the laughing stocks because you don't know both sides of the story. I know your side, your accusations of the PLA's "invasion" in 1959, Tibet's supposed "independence" prior to it, the Dalai Lama's supposed non-violence policy, Tibet's supposed legendary Shangri-la prior to 1959; I know it all and have heard it all. However, I also know the other side of the story, China's side, the Chinese peoples' side, and after hearing both sides and judging the evidence I think Tibet is rightfully a part of China and better off for it. |

There are 56 ethnic groups in total in China, Han is the majority with approximately 90%, Tibetan is only one out of the remaining 55 ethnicities in China, and therefore you are all being discriminatory by ignoring the other 55 ethnic groups and only focusing on Tibet. However, I can understand why you do it; the Dalai Lama has done a wondrous job of marketing the Tibet cause and completely hiding the fact that he was merely a puppet on the CIA's payroll during the Cold War to be a thorn in China's side by creating this Free Tibet cause. Such conspiracies against a sovereignty country are despicable and his traitorous actions have landed him in a position of exile of which he more than deserves. The other 54 ethnic minorities in China don't have a Dalai Lama to brand their causes so all your ignorant fools just ignore them, or don't even know about them. |

Have you guys ever thought of what's going to happen to Tibet and the Tibetans if they do become independent? Who's going to pour millions into their economy then? The US? UK? France? Haha, don't make me laugh. Tibet's population has grown from the early 60's to today, therefore any claims of genocide are completely false given that fact alone. Either that or the CCP really sucks at genocide since the population of those getting killed is growing instead of shrinking. Therefore, there are no grounds to enact the R2P clause in the UN Charter and hence this disgraceful interference in a sovereign state's internal affairs is illegal, not to mention discriminatory since you are placing Tibetans high and above the other 55 ethnic groups in China. |
