vanilla ice, mc hammer, will smith and most notably spoof daddy are the primary reasons the genre has gone down the shit hole. you can't forget n.w.a., 2pac, and biggie. they're influence wen't outside the genre and went to fucking middle class america. they reinforced a negative stereotype of african-americans. can't forget nelly for the most recent shitty mainstream rap.
