On this channel you'll find recordings of rare piano music, mostly from around 1900 to 1930.
The music is either from LPs, or recorded at home using a midi-operated keytop player (which does not work most of the time).
If you enter "piano roll archive" on google you should find literally thousands of midi files which were copied from piano rolls -- from a technical point of view, a piano roll is actually an analogue midi file, a represenation which tells the instrument which notes to play. Thanks to the archivers, the musical heritage stored on these rolls will not be forgotten.
Apart from scanned rolls you can still buy real piano rolls for your player piano from various companies!
And apart from music, I'm quite interested in old computers and operating systems. So you will find some videos of "antique" operating systems on my channel (most notably, the ITS).
