Welcome to the official Delta AFA flight attendants campaign YouTube channel. With the merger with Northwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines now is the worlds largest airline, and Delta flight attendants are dedicated to making it the worlds greatest, proudly serving air passengers around the globe.
We see opportunity at the new Delta. We are a world-class airline essentially in a League of Our Own. We will be the largest group of flight attendants in the world, and we are proud of our company and of our profession. We want and will demand success of the airline and of ourselves.
We need a voice to accomplish this. Thats why we believe we need representation so we can sit at the table with Delta executives and speak for ourselves. Together, we are a powerful voice for ourselves, and for our profession.
There are lots of issues at stake as we board this new world-class airline, not the least of which is our role as world-class flight attendants.
Lets speak up, and speak out!

The only way to avoid a terminal disease that no amount of asprin will cure is to have a legally binding contract. Try AFA for a year--if you don't like the contract they are negotiating then we can always change unions....after all NWA FA's did just that during the last contract negotiations. Even with bankruptcy pay NWA's work rules are better and more efficient than ever before. With further negotiations we can improve and keep those improvements legally binding!!! We can have the best of both worlds but only if we make the choice to have a voice. Otherwise, all power is left to those at the rotating top of the business world who have contracts in writing to make millions even if the airline ceases to exist.

Try it it without a union for a year = try to find a new job! I love my job as a Delta flight attendant and WANT that insurance policy of a legal and binding contract!

A contract is a good thing. Trying it without one opens the door to layoffs, more paycuts, less insurance and retirement. Can you afford that? We can change Unions any time. Once the layoffs are done, is impossible to organize. We need to force the Union and Management to be civilized and work together. We need a contract, just like management does. This could work for all of us. Even the company. They could go from #12 to #4 or even higher. I would love to see Delta #1 but we need a united work force.

And, unless you retain your collective bargaining rights now, you will not be able to negotiate in a good economy, bad economy, or ever! Look at the big picture -- we are Delta, we are AFA!

Are you crazy? This is the best time to negotiate. If we don't have a contract management can manipulate us continually, outsource at will, and have carte blanche to decimate the entire group of 21,000. Job security is the name of the game in this economic environment. Without a contract we are pawns at the mercy of mercenaries.

The only time I want to negotiate a contract with my company is when the economy is doing great. We are in the worst financial near depression economy in years and afa is telling us that they will get us the best contract ever. Remember a contract is a contract and if afa gets us one where the hourly rate is 15 an hour and not medical. We will have a contract a contract not worth working under. Be careful what you hope for. Non Union might be the best choice now.

You're going to need more than an aspirin. Your Delta has been defiled by Northwest management and others. Your Delta has gone the way of the dinosaur, I'm sorry to say. For this new Delta a contract it the best medicine.

We don't need a union. We need an aspirin for the headache the AFA has been giving us for the past several years. I'm tired of arguing to keep Delta the way I like it -- the way it is now.

Let's try it without a union first... if's MUCH easier to get a union then it is to decertify one... if we're not happy, there are lots of unions who will want to represent us... teamsters may be better than AFA!

The time is now for workers to secure their future. Nothing is guaranteed, but a contract is critical!
