WMP is one of the premiere original rock bands in the Tampa Bay area. Their unique blend of music rooted in rock, metal, blues, reggae, funk and acoustic stylings makes them one of the must-see live acts in the local music scene.

The band WMP signifies one thing: GREAT MUSIC. Each band member brings their own distinct creative vision and abilities to the table. From within this collective framework comes the sound of new and original rock and roll.

Drummer Kyle McDowell and Guitarist Justin Culley began their musical journey over 10 years ago after meeting in Junior High. During the ensuing few years, the musical roots of the band began to form. At the start of 2007, the two musicians found the ideal frontman for WMP in James Crayton. Along with providing a much needed change of face, James brings his own unique vocal style and in-your-face persona to the band. In the summer of 2008, Matt Raspopovich reunited with former classmates Justin & Kyle and joined WMP, bringing to the table an array of sonic assault with his keys.

From the fusion of these elements emerges a dynamic group of musicians ready to lead rock and roll back to the forefront of music in the new millenium.
