"Allah does not change the situation of a people, until they change themselves" -- Al-Ra`d: 11
Oummah is an bad condition since we left the love, honor and respect to the Prophet (s), we used to carry for century. SO YES LOVE, HONOR AND RESPECT OF THE PROPHET (S) IS THE SOLUTION TO SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS OF THE OUMMAH, |

To Love , Honor and Respect Prophet (s) IS SAFETY FOR THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT :
A man asked the Prophet about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying, "When will the Hour be?" The Prophet said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle. " The Prophet said, "You will be with those whom you love." We had never been so glad as we were on hearing that saying of the Prophet (i.e., "You will be with those whom you love.") Therefore, I love the Prophet , Abu Bakr and 'Umar, and I hope that I will be with them because of my love for them though my deeds are not similar to theirs. Anas narrated it. |

SAHABA were asking healing with the holy hair of Prophet (s)
In Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 784: `Uthman bin `Abd Allah ibn Mawhab said, "My people sent me with a bowl of water to Umm Salama." Isra'il approximated three fingers indicating the small size of the container in which there was some hair of the Prophet. `Uthman added, "If any person suffered from evil eye or some other disease, he would send a vessel (containing water) to Umm Salama (and she would dip the Prophet's hair into it and it would be drunk). I looked into the container (that held the hair of the Prophet) and saw a few reddish hairs in it." |

SAHABA were fighting to be able to have one hair of Prophet (s) :
Anas said: "When the Prophet shaved his head in Mina, he gave me the hair from the right side and he said: Anas! take it to Umm Sulaym [his mother]. When the Companions saw what the Prophet gave us, they began to compete to take the hair from the left side, and everyone was getting a share from that." Ahmad narrated it. |

SAHABA were winning battle because of Prophet s hair blessings :
Abu Bakr (ra) said: "I saw Khalid [ibn Walid] asking for the Prophet's (s) forelock and he received it. He used to put it over his eyes and then kiss it." It is known that he then placed it in his qalansuwa (head cover around which the turban is tied) and never faced battle again except he won. al-Waqidi (Maghazi), Ibn Hajar (Isaba). Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani relates that Imam Malik said: "Khalid ibn al-Walid owned a qalansiyya which contained some of the Prophet's hair, and that is the one he wore the day of the battle of Yarmuk. (ref: Ibn Abi Zayd, al-Jami` fi al-sunan (1982 ed.) p. 227.) |

Just a little reminder :
To Love , Honor and Respect Prophet (s) is a DIVINE ORDER Allah asks the Prophet to remind his Nation that it is essential for those who claim to love God, to love His Prophet : "Say to them: If you love God, follow (and love and honor) me, and God will love you" (3:31). To Love , Honor and Respect Prophet (s) is a sign of FAITH The Prophet said: "None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves his children, his parents, and all people." In another hadith in Bukhari he said: "None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves himself." Hadith related in Bukhari and Muslim, |

But others follow the example of the Sahaba al Kiraam, and have a very high devotion and respect to the Prophet saws. They decide to change the world, and transform the Umma with love. Remember the ayat: "Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive all your sins", and another ayat: "Obey Allah and his prophet and those who have authority upon you". Loving and respecting the Prophet is a duty on every Muslim. If we do not have love and respect to one another then where does it leave the Umma?
For you it might just be a hair, but if you stand in front of it, and realize it comes from the Best of Creation, the Beloved of Allah, the Seal of Prophets, the Healer of our hearts... how can you not be deeply affected and moved? Tell me brother, how else did you intend to solve the problems of the Umma? |

Salam alaykoum jali1991
You asked a good question mashallah! Thinking of the Umma is the most important thing for all Muslims today. It is a duty to bring back the Umma to the level it is intended to be, high, bright and on the sirat al mustaqeem towards Allah Ta3aala. But the question is how are we going to do it? Some Muslims are inspired to do it by social organizations, military activities, and methods that are very active but quite modern and new. And Alhamdulillah, Allah has inspired them to do so. |
