On Roy Cousins' Phase 1 label dating from 1978 this is a lovers tune with a tuff roots backing. The tune is incredibly catchy - almost like a nursery rhyme. I have had to truncate the first side slightly so that Prince Muhamanad"s (Muhammed) version "Lightning and Thunder" can be played, plus the totally awesome dub clash at the end, which is soo uplifting, can be fitted into 10 minutes. Smashing cymbals, machine gun dub echoes, it is massive. Both sides are great, but it is worth waiting for the dub in the last minute or so. Mega.

A track taken from Horace Andy's 1983 album Dance Hall Style. The track itself is called "Cuss Cuss" and is in extended discomix format - tune into dub. This tune features the weird and fragmented - almost industrial - Wackie's sound and at one point (just around the 3:15 mark) it sounds like the whole thing is going to disintegrate before your very ears.

True hardcore stylee going down in this album - deadly tunes. Money money is superb too.

Cheesetastic, reggae lovers pop tune from 1981 that was a big hit in its day. Some may be surprised at this choice but it comes with a delicious dub - which is the name of (my) game.

Shirley James and Danny Ray persuade each other to spend the night together for a bit of hanky-panky in this cover of Ronnie Milsap's Country original.

I didn't check to see if anyone had posted this before I made the film (silly me) and yes they have! Of course, with so many more people uploading these days! The more the merrier I say hehe. Mrrk got in there ages ago and RootsDaughter41926 recently posted the 12". However, this is the first time the dub has been uploaded. And it is an excellent dub - like many lovers tunes of the period had - along with that quality musicianship. My version seems to run quicker than RootsDaughter41926's extended mix. Not sure why.
