Hey Wes, not sure you will remember me, but my name is Vicky and I was engaged to Byron for awhile until he had a bad mental breakdown. We worked at Southwest Airlines together. Anyway, I just heard about what happened and am in total shock. I just can't fathom his dad doing what they say he did. I couldn't read the article in the paper about problems at the house since the article is too old, but it sounds like they made Byron out to be the reason for this happening. I was glad to read your letter to the editor defending him. Byron had mental issues, but he didn't want to be that way and you would not know of a more deeply feeling soul. Before he became so lost mentally, he was the most romantic and shivilrous man I knew. I did love him dearly and will always love the memories of him when he was fun and carefree.
