About Me:
 
Tequila Mockingbird is the original roots band from Denver, Colorado. This quintet is a long-standing staple on the western front range and is known for their dynamic live performances, as well as their catchy, hooky songs; the songs and lyrics described as "never felt so good to feel so bad." The group brings a unique style your ears and mind; the tunes range from blues rock (Catching On) to alternative country (Drunk Again) to powerpop (The Honeymoon) to heartbreaking ballads (Shades of Grey).

The songs are driven by the energy and madness of the Birds - as original as the music they produce. Wendy Clark (Hudson) fronts the band with her engaging vocals, guitar, and sassy expressions; Daniel Paschke is co-founder and lead guitarist extraordinare; Mark Mauldin plays the guitar(s) and plays the crowd; Rhett Haney is the bassist, backup vocalist, and idea-generating madman; Rob Cameron plays the drums and laughs at everything he sees.

Their latest CD titled "Alien-American" was released in late 2004 and engineered by producer and musician Eric Shiveley.
