This a simple version of Final Fantasy IV :Theme of Love, composed by Uematsu Nobuo circa 1991. Played by me da Vynic on classical guitar. The title at the beginning was written by me using a Copic R29 Lipstick Red marker.

This piece is also known as the Rosa's Theme. I haven't played the game, but as I heard it is the theme played when u revive Rosa using the Sand Rudy to cure her Desert Fever, after Antlion is defeated. Rosa then becomes a White Mage and joins the league. The masterpiece is also part of the music curriculum for primary schools in Japan.

There are number of renditions on youtube I love so so much:
Celtic Moon version - an absolutely fabulous arrangement, that enchanting sounds is going to trap you into a dream.
Tour de Japon version - this orchestrated arrangement gives full dynamic, should note the conductor's expression at the 3:29 climax XD.
Lonlonjps version - he has got everything figured out, simply awesome.
Asianmages version - Flute, guitar and the natural echo created by the enclosed staircase is such a good match.

Carmen is probably one of the first works that attracted me into the world of classical music. I remember when I was still in primary school, I once heard a recording of Anne-Sophie Mutters performance of Pablo de Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy on RTHK Radio 4, and it was remarkable.
Since then I have also listened to many other renditions, but something always draw me back to Mutters legendary recording. I remember I often listened to this track when I went to Urban Councils music library. Eventually, I bought the CD of that recording in year 8 and this remains as one of my favourites to date.

La Catedral, composed by the legendary Agustin Barrios Mangoré in 1921.
Exquisite and technically demanding (refering to Movement III), this piece is arguably the most known work of Barrios. The original 1921 composition consisted only the second and third Movements, the first Movement was added by Barrios years later. The first time Barrios ever performed La Catedral with all 3 Movements was in San Salvador, 1938.

I personally think Movement I: Preludio Saudade portrays calmness and serenity, its sound resembles the fading sound of bell of a church tower heard from far distance.

La Catedral (Movement II: Andante Religioso) , composed by the legendary Agustin Barrios Mangoré in 1921.

This is the second Movement in the 3 Movements suite. If Movement I resembles the distanced sound of a church bell, Movement II may perhaps be a portrayal of the approach to such cathedral. Moderately paced, the sound seems suggestive that something is about to happen, or, to be revealed.

This is the first video I made using Adobe After Effect, prior this video I used Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effect offers far more control, it allows you to manipulate every single pixel on the screen in anyway you could imagine, if you know how.

It took me some times to get familiar with After Effect. One of the things I found irritating about AE is its Previewing system. In Premiere Pro, preview is achieved by utilising hand disk cache, which typically allows a very sufficient preview length, in my case, preview an entire 3-4mins video has hardly been any problem. Nevertheless in After Effect, where preview is achieved by loading edited video files and effects into RAM, preview length rather limited (typically only 20 seconds in my case and I have 4Gb RAM!). Checking the video projects projected result in AE seems cumbersome and clumsy compare to APP.

The other thing I found difficult to get used to is how in AE each layer cannot contain more than one footage, whereas APP allows unlimited number of footage to be put in each track.

Apart from the aforementioned points, AE is a very powerful and sophisticated tool for video editing. There are so much yet to be discovered.
