  • Didn't this lady sell more annuities than anyone when she was a Advisor at Merrill Lynch? She is the biggest sellout the industry has ever seen. She also is so out of touch with Variable Annuities and the enhanced living and legacy benefits that you can attach to them. Sure, they not suitable for everyone, but they do help pre and current retirees plan for unforeseen risks in ret. like longevity and sequence of returns risk. Don't have a pension? You can use a variable annuity to create one

  • I hope people don't really listen to this woman. How can you possibly tell this person what type of product she should be in...have you asked her what she would be using it for? Its people like Suze Orman that make a living off pumping out this type of GARBAGE that make it difficult for the average person to make an educated decision. I would love to have a televised conversation with this woman and end her career once and for all!

  • Watch my videos about why annuities SUCK! Ordinary income taxation is just one of the many many reasons to completely AVOID these awful annuities. I think the people who are praising annuities in the comment section here are brokers who are trying to earn the HEFTY commissions that they get when they sell annuities to unsuspecting investors. Brokers typically earn 5 - 12% commissions when selling annuities plus possible "trailer fees". That's the ONLY reason annuities exist.

  • @YourInvestmentAdvise You have no protection or guarantees in an indent fund. If used for the purposes of income in retirement, they can transfer the complete market risk away from you and give it to the insurance company. Just stay away from low rated companies and secure your retirement.

  • My clients IRA with a living benefit Variable Annuity has out preformed their 401k for 5 years and will be the focal point of their retirement income.

  • Riddle me this - she is worth 33 million dollars but only has 1 million invested in securities? She tells people to put as much as 70% of their money in securities but she only has 3% of her money in the market? She is a book/tapes/CDs fraud. She makes a bunch of blanket statements on basic money principles and uneducated people eat it up wholesale. She doesnt care about the market because she just pushes her book harder to make more money.

  • she knows what she is talking about she is licensed in ever state except in Hawaii meaning she had to pass many test in order to get where she is today

  • Variable annuities are terrible investments. Watch my video for the details. Invest in index fund ETF's instead. Don't put your money in "prison".

  • @Termisexpensivebut you risk your principal!! What are you guaranteed? If you are going to buy and annuity, get an indexed annuity; reasonable rate of return, guarantee of principal.Stay away from VAs!

  • @jgaudette77 I don't really like her too.
