this is my horses daddy :) its amazing how much they look alike. his name is real skippy and ive been desperately trying to find a picture of him in a race, though his record is no where near as good as his dads

a year ago i rescued an off the track thoroughbred and his papers say his sire was Skip Away! so thanks for this video its awsome. i call him andy for short and he is grey just like his daddy.

Yes Skip Away was a great horse, but he was not better then Cigar and yes his win was a fluke. Jerry Bailey had Cigar to far back and left him with too much to do and still ran him down to the wire to come up a head short while carrying more weight and tailing off. Not only is Cigar ranked higher even Jerry Bailey says Cigar was the better horse and he rode both horses in their prime. If anyone can say who was the better horse, he can.
