Awesome vid pal! (:
I enjoy a lot making monotypes but i differ a little, i don't own a press tho, so i widen son etching ink in a glass leaving a very thin layer, then i put a paper on top and draw on it, sometimes i do this several times -depending on how many inks- this does cualify as monotype right?¿ jajajajaja anyway (: lovely vídeo enjoyed a lot, how is your monotyping goin?

Awesome Print!
I don't know if they are in the Nertherlands or not, but Utrecht (sounds German to me) makes a "baby press" for a little over 200 dollars. That press will only do prints 7 by 12 inches though. Also, you have to order the felt blankets for intaglio printing seperatly -- which is kind of a bummer. I don't own one of these, but I think I will soon. Hope this helps.

How much does a little press like that cost?

that press was around $500. I purchased it from some company in the Netherlands. It's a pretty funy toy. Expensive, but if you use it all the time, then it's worth it.

Julia... the press I have does a maximum of about 9 x 12". It's been great to have. It's nice beacuse even if you aren't a good artist, the results end up looking interesting because of hte process. I purchased the press from some netherlands company for about $500. I can try to find the manufacturer if you're interested in getting one.
