This is a 10-minute mini MELT Map to help alleviate lower back pain and compression caused by everyday living. Go to www.meltmethod.com for more information on how to get rid of your back pain!
@sbethell seriously is this suitable for someone who has undergone surgery. The butcher performed a lumbar discectomy operation on my L5/S1 and I'm still in a great deal of pain.I've tried everything including all the crap therapies on Lose the back pain website. Osteopathy, physio, chiropractor, accupuncture, trigger point therapy, all the crap generic exercises, tens machine, all sorts of drugs but nothing works. How safe are these exercises for someone with chronic pain? Looks like a scam..lol
@8MCDonalds8 I am a MELT instructor and you're right - most of my students have low back pain from overuse, misuse, or inactivity. A person like yourself, with several debilitating back ailments, might still be able to find benefit from the MELT techniques. Ideally, you would work privately with a trained practitioner to find a way to ease your body through these exercises. I would have you start with the MELT Hand and Foot Treatment. I would also have you try the softer pink foam roller.
As I have seen in many other "treatments" these exercises are for people with some discomfort in the lower back which is likely due to inactivity or a somewhat over moderate muscle injury. I have several back ailments and there is no way in hell I would even consider forcing these types of severe movements on it! I have been researching my situation for over 5 years now and, for the most part, 98% of the "treatments" offered are for minor to nagging pain, not debilitating.
do you sell a dvd with instruction on how to use the rollers for neck and back pain problems that you show here in video? i went to your website but i didn't see any.
@sbethell I had my operation done in 1994. You stupid fuck surgeons are butchers especially in 1994 when back surgery wasn't exactly advanced...lol

@Hertsman50 My students include many with chronic pain and who have had surgery. (Maybe you should've seen a surgeon rather than a butcher? lol)
