This is the best pumpkin patch I have ever been to. This is in Florida and I have lived here all my life. We don't have real pumpkin patches where you pick pumpkins off a vine. They are usually tents on road sides or sold in church yards. This one was at a churck and I was amazed that not only they had pumpkins, but gourds and different varieties of pumpkins besides jack o lanterns. Most pumpkin stands here only have the regular orange jack o lanterns, a few Jack Be Littles and a few white pumpkins. But this one had green pumpkins, pie pumpkins, goose neck gourds, red Hubbard Squash, and what impressed me the most was the One Too Many pumpkins which are the ones that look like they have netting. I got a gorgeous goose neck gourd a a few Little Iron SIdes and the monsterous One Too Many at the begining by the scarecrow. Yep, the big long ugly one. I'm definitely going back for more. This patch was just awesome. I put my foot out for size comparison. My shoe is a size 8.
The song is called Chacarilla Boliviana.

  • They did have it again this year. I'll be making an updated video.

  • That's so cool! They have a few places like that around here, but I've never been. Although I'd love to! There varities are so neat! Is this put on by local farmers?

  • @pumpkingrower14 Thanks. It was really fun. No, this was a lot of a church. Down here this is what it's like to buy pumpkins and Christmas trees. They have lots or tents where they sell them at churches or schools. I like buying from my old highschool. Since pumpkins don't really grow down here we have to import everything from other states so they aren't local. Neither are the trees for the same reason.

  • I hope they'll have this again this year. I'd love to go back.
