Jacob Dennings, who suffers from chronic insomnia, faces many long nights of sleeplessness. On a particularly eerie night, Jacob steps out his house to his backyard for a cigarette with hopes that it will help him to sleep. Loved it! i did think that the black outs and that one white out were a bit too long. But i definately almost pissed myself when we first saw the alien, i knew it was coming and it still got me, well done! what do you do about night shooting? filter? editing? or did you actually shoot at night?

Glad you enjoyed it. To obtain the "night effect" I put blue cellophane over my windows for the inside shots so that way the sunlight had a strong blue tint. For the outside shots, I filmed at twilight hour as the sun was going down and then did color correction in post.
