Another Larry Norman classic. This song describes how some viewed Jesus Christ in His day. I hope you take the time to ask yourself the same question. A great song accompanied by modern pictures. I chose not to restrict comments to allow you to speak the words that flow from your heart.

  • I just recently discovered Larry's music, and have been blessed by it! Of course the Devils is going it get some good music, considering the position he choose to surrender, its to be expected.

Truth of the matter is, Satan has more reasons or need to scream, all the louder because he already knows he is lost and doesn't want to spend eternity in HELL ALONE!! We know that won't that won't the case, but if people continue to allow world system to think 4 them, the deception will continue!

  • When I became a Christian in 1972. A Christian friend introduced me Larry Norman Upon This Rock album. The Upon This Rock is my all time favourite album. And Only Visiting This Planet is my second.

  • Thank you.

  • @WernerFinck come on - don't be so hard on your self. You didn't get the meaning of the song, when you heard it first. Listen again :-) Never call yourself terrible and stupid. You are made in the image of GOD... He loves you.

  • Big balls huge heart & a mind like a steel beartrap our Christ had..

He called himself a "HARDMAN" (Believe-it) & yet he was gentle to the meek & meek with the gentle & as the Jewish prophet said he wouldn't quench the dim glow of a wounded spirit or further damage an already broken human soul but as for that gentle Jesus meek & mild crap you're talking about the Lion of the Tribe of Judah & son of the 'ENLIL' ruler of the galaxy (At-least) & the toughest man to ever walk the earth...

  • Well done!

  • I believe this to be one of the great songs ever..... EVER!

  • From the moment I first heard this song in the early 80's, it has been carved on my memory as a simple statement of Christian Faith. Larry Norman had a remarkable talent for writing and singing songs that were relevant for both Christian and secular audiences. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis.
