Demo of the Vintage Phaser Behringer (VP1) on my Epiphone Valve Junior with my Ibanez AS 103 Burle Maple top.

- On the simple repetitive demo :
The humuckers of the ibanez are on the middle position.

- On the exemples :
For Nobody's Fault but minne, i play on the neck pickup.
For Ain't talking about love, i play on the bridge pickup.

I hope the video solve your questions.

Thanks for watching.

  • Can you get an "Ain't talkin' bout love" (Van Halen) kind of tone from the pedal?

  • @Sulcuscentralis

    Take a look at 5:55.

My playng is not very good but you can make an idea !

  • why do people argue that it's about the player not the gear? I don't think ANYONE has every claimed that high dollar gear will make them a better guitarist. That argument is so meaningless and irrelevant. Some guitarists just don't want to deal with cheap unreliable equipment that carry a bad reputation that can break on stage or go out of tune etc. You get what you pay for BMW vs Kia? People who say "its the player not the gear" are mindlessly repeating the "arrogant guitarist's catch phrase".

  • @thehurricanesrock You're right. I hate sticking to one brand. I have a Boss pedal, an MXR, a Danelectro, a BBE, an Electro-Harmonix, and a Behringer, because I liked the way one sounded better than one by a different brand. It should always be about sound and not corporate tie-ins.

  • Anyone know how to open up the pedal? There's something wrong with the rate knob, it's not like other pedals... it's a weird an refuses to open up and I don't wanna break it :/

  • @biggayal1992 Right angle patch cable. Try them out. They're great.

  • @blinedriver I think it's more about the sound for that argument. If Behinger were to make a pedal that was solid and a lot more reliable both inside AND outside, they'd improve their reputation. In a blind listening test, most guitarists wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Take their small stone guts and throw it into one of the Behringer chassis and they'll say it sucks. Take the guts from a Behringer and throw it into a vintage small stone without telling them and they'll cream over it.

  • i own this pedal, i love this pedal

  • i want to buy a distortion pedal.would you recommend that one?is it only overdrive?does it have massive distortion?10x

  • I bought one of these and Its kinda shit. It wigs out on new batteries and with a power supply. You had any troubles? Behringer suck as a brand. The only pedal thats any good is the hellbabe wah! For $90 AUS it kicks ass.

  • @Mikemaniax Sticking to a brand sucks true true

  • @ad1170

I never play with the PH9...

  • @Boudg what would you say in your opinion makes this better then the behringer ph9 phaser and on what basis should i choose this over the ph9 or the ph9 over this???
