13.3.10 Yagur Dressage - Noa & Ruby :)

I love my horse so much xD
He was perfect at the warm up and at the show ring :)
Got 61.85% and 2nd place in the first test (the easier one) and broke my personal best (last time I got 60% and 3rd place, sadly the camera girls sucked so I didn't upload it to youtube LOL) so I'm pretty happy about that :]
The 2nd test wasn't as flowing as the first one so the scores were lower, 56.25% and 13th place.
I didn't get any 5s in the first test - only 6s and 7s! :D yay! (That means it was pretty consistent but I'll have to try harder to be number 1 :)
I looked at the test sheets and learned for my next show (this weekend) that:
1. I need to keep Ruby more upward in the canter cause he is really leaning on his forehand in the canter.... so more half halts but to keep my leg on :]
2. He tends to have his hind legs inside on the long sides - so I need to work on shoulder in so he'll put more weight on his inside hind leg.
3. On the circles (mostly on the right side, which is his stiffer side) I need to make him bend more to my leg with his whole body. (Like a banana :)
4. The trot needs to be way more active and he needs to be 'before the leg' to do so... need to work on that... :)
I'm getting a new saddle for my birthday (31.3) so yay :D
My trainer is searching a good one for me and he actually found one but then my ex trainer 'stole' it before him xD lol

Hi Noa, great to hear from you! :) Looks like you're still enjoying your dressage also! :) Yes things are busy here too. Kiri is going to compete Jewel next week for the first time. Oliver is coming along up the grades, he's going so well.
Ruby is looking good! :) I can see the progress in you both! :) Keep up the great work.
