Hack and Slash Comical Swordplay at Maryland Renaissance Festival, 26 September 2010

Hack and Slash are the stage names of a couple of guys who are specialists at stage combat and very good at witty banter. The show they put on was very funny and while it was silly sometimes, there was no mistaking their great skill with both swords and whips.

I shot both the video clips and the still pictures that follow them with my Canon EOS 7D SLR with a Canon L-series 24-105mm short zoom lens. I also used for the first time a Sennheiser MKE 400 shotgun microphone on the hotshoe of the camera to better record Hack and Slashs witty banter.

I developed the pictures in Adobe Lightroom 3.2 and Photoshop Elements 7.0 (using Alienskin's Bokeh-2 and Topaz Adjust 4.0 along with Noiseware 2.0 Standard).

I edited the video in Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 and created the combined video and still picture wmv file in Proshow Gold.
